Requested a risk assessment and trimming plan for the trees in the common area of our small condo association. We were not advised that we would be charged $150 service charge for the assessment until the representative arrived. As he was already on the property we agreed to have them proceed as we assumed we would get some value from the assessment. However, the "assessment" turned out to be nothing more than a sales promotion for the only services they provided - regular treatment services - and a list of tree services for trimming and pruning, as they do not provide those services. The "assessment" included a recommendation for a very expensive annual "tree wash", that we found upon further research was not very effective for our trees due to their size and age. We contacted a real tree service, with certified arborists, that provided a real risk assessment with a specific pruning, trimming and treatment plan WITH NO CHARGE for the assessment. They also did not recommend the tree wash as, consistent with our own research, "...it was not effective for our trees due their size and thickness of the bark". When we contacted My Arborist to request they waive their inspection fee, they declined. This is a company that is using the lawn treatment service industry as a business model for tree care. When the only tool you have is a hammer - everything looks like a nail! I would not recommend their service!

I HIGHLY recommend Matt and his team! This Spring, we noticed that our boxwoods were looking sick, appeared to have insects, and were browning and not showing new growth. After consulting w/ Matt, their team performed a few treatments and already the insects are gone, and new growth is plentiful. They look healthy and happy again! Matt will be our go-to in the future for anything tree and shrub related.

The spraying is not effective this year. I noticed many leaves turning yellow with infection starting in June. In July the infection grew to a larger area and leaves started falling like fall season. I already had 3 applications. The staff is not professional and we have to tell them to spray to cover the entire tree area. I will not recommend this company for your trees.

I've had a very positive experience dealing Matt of My Arborist LLC. Responds to questions both by phone and email in a timely fashion. Provides service on time and respectful of my property. Fair pricing. A much better experience than I had with a previous service!
