Mid State Tree Service LLC

We had a very large tree fall on our home, so we contacted Mid State Tree Service. They came so fast, and they were well prepared! They worked quickly and professionally. After they carefully and professionally removed the tree from our house, they cleared out all the wood and cleaned up so well that, other than the damage to our home, you couldn't tell there was ever a tree that fell. I highly recommend them!

Had an excellent experience with Mid State Tree Service. Fast and fair quote, and when I reached back out to confirm the bid I was scheduled within a week. Awesome crew of guys that came out. Had the tree cut, ground, and new grass seed down in nearly 1 hour!

I recently had Rob and his crew take down and remove a large elm tree. The cost was a little less than I had guessed, and the work was done in a timely and professional manner. I'd hire them again if needed

We contacted Mid State a few months back for a quote on cutting some dead branches off a tree in our yard. They came out and gave us a quote and a prices, physically looked at the tree and agreed to what we wanted done. A few weeks later and a few phone calls later, they showed up to do the job without letting us know they were even coming. The first time they came, they didn’t get everything that was spoke about it. We gave them a call and asked if they could fix it. Again a few weeks passed and we heard nothing until again they showed up unannounced. Now the second time back, they still did not get everything we asked them to get. Not to mention that every time they finished, they would put a sign in our front yard with their business logo on it, never asked permission to use our yard for advertisement. Third call, spoke with the owner who said he would personally come do it himself. Perfect no complaints about that. When he gets here he scolded my fiancé about not knowing the difference between pruning a tree and trimming a tree. His words were “you should have told me you wanted it pruned and not trimmed”. My fiancé is not a arborist and wasn’t aware that he should have known the difference for when we got the quote. After he was done, he asked for the payment. My fiancé did not have cash on him and told him that we would call to make the payment. I do want to mention that during this few months of waiting to get the tree done correctly, we got multiple calls to pay our bill. Why would we pay for a service that was half/incorrectly done? Today we had a knock on our door with a lady standing there with a bill asking for payment stating that all day yesterday she was trying to get a hold of my fiancé. Which she probably was but I’m sure that she was aware that cellcom has been down for the last day and half and we are not receiving any calls. I don’t find it very professional to show up at someone door step. If it was that much of an issue to get this money, they could have sent it to collections. Since they wanted to take their time and keep pushing us off and showing up to our house unannounced multiple times, why shouldn’t we take our time to pay this bill? I also find it very very unprofessional to show up with a bill on our doorstep and then sit in our drive for 15 minutes after speaking with me. If I wanted to leave I couldn’t due to this vehicle blocking our driveway exit. I would not suggest them, unless you’re okay with just a okay job done, getting harassed about your bill when service wasn’t completed, and having them show up to your house unannounced multiple times.
