I wholeheartedly recommend Mid America Tree Experts. They saved my family home after the May 16 tornado slammed a giant tree onto/into the house. They were on site doing emergency tree work for Missouri American (the local water utility) right after the tornado, so I asked if they could help me next. Their hands were already full, but they could see it was a real emergency, and agreed to stay on. Andrew and his crew worked 30+ hours straight, to free our home, a neighbor's, and the water utility pipes. They did a heroic job, and spared our house any further damage. On a side note, they also did a great job tarping our roof - I had a roofing company check the tarps, and they said it was done right with good quality materials. The crew were great - professional, conscientious, and capable. They had the right equipment, specialty trucks and an aerial lift, in visibly well maintained condition. They worked smart, safe and sane, and stayed totally focused despite the surrounding chaos. They were organized and responsive on the business side too, working with our insurance and generating the documents we needed. Also, the owners Andrew and Erica are both super duper nice, incredibly smart, and trustworthy. A true family business. I've hired several tree services over the years, and this one is far and away the best.

This team is amazing. They came the afternoon that I called. A large tree fell in my backyard and was pushing a cluster of other trees into my house. They worked until dark to get the limbs away from my house and secured the trunks so they wouldn't fall before they could come back out and finish. In all they removed 5 trees and worked within my budget. I highly recommend this team!

Their crew were very professional and worked very hard on cleaning up a huge mess I made with my pole saw. They even gave me a great price on removing what was left of the Bradford Pear tree and came back a few days later and ground down the stump. After I sent them photos of the mess I had made in my front yard they fit me in the next day which really surprised my wife and me. No more sticky gooey berries all over my car and driveway. I'm sending the photos of that Bradford Pear tree down to the Missouri Department of Conservation and they will send me a new tree for getting rid of this invasive species. I can't praise Andrew with Mid America Tree Experts enough. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and professional. I've hired contractors in the past for varies jobs, but none can come close to the great experience we had with Mid America. Andrew came out looked at our tree gave a us a quote for trimming, but warned us the tree might be dying and he wouldn't know exactly how bad until he was up there to get a closer look. Once he started the job he realized the tree was in worse shape than had originally thought. He didn't like giving us bad news, or to upsell us on his services, but thought it was his responsibility to take care of this dangerous tree so close to our house. So he gave us an outstanding deal (seriously like half the price it would cost normally) to remove the tree since he was already there with his equipment. He also had to take part of my privacy fence down to get in the back yard, but put it back up even better than it was originally. The fence company we hired couldn't figure out why our gate wouldn't line up straight with our fence. After Andrew put it back it is now perfect. If you have any tree services needing to be done. Had 3 trees leaning on house after recent storm – MidAmerica Tree Experts came out that night at 1:00 am to evaluate the situation and stayed with us until they developed a plan. Eventually were able to remove all three trees (with the help of a very large crane, a lift, a chainsaw, and a clear knowledge of tree physics!) with very little damage to house. As an added bonus, they managed to save a momma raccoon and her 4 babies who had taken up residence in one of the trees. Good, decent, fair people who want to help their customers and get the job done right. Highly recommend!!
