I am going to let my one star speak for itself here. And, it’s not because they can’t cut down trees efficiently or quickly. That part was fine. And, they even bumped us up to do it early, which I was thankful for. But, they didn’t complete the removal of all of our wood, stating the day of the job they would be back the following day to finish. They didn’t show up then, or the next two times they stated after we reached out again and again. We were stood up 3 times total and then they cashed our last payment on ‘accident’ (that they said they would hold until payday weeks away). So now paid in full, and contract says completed but they didn’t finish. And, when I called in disbelief about cashing the check, it was thrown back in my face with “this is how you thank me for helping you out” Yah okay….no apologies or I’m so sorry! And then as a last kick we were then ‘punished’ and told that now they wouldn’t be coming until a month from now to complete their job…They are big bullies who are not used to confrontation. But, THANK GOD for an amazing local community, we had the wood picked up for free by locals in less than 24 hours. My oldest son also called and left two messages but they never responded. Go figure. They can sure dish it out though!! I’ve never felt more country girl than this crappy transaction. Big blessings on them and I sincerely hope they do someone else’s pick up for free since they didn’t do the one we paid for!

Mel's tree service is the best!! I called that day Mel showed right up. He cut a massive White pine tree down within 50 minutes did a beauiful job was very pleased his crew cleaned everything up nicely. I highly recommend him. Very professional and very efficient and very nice. I will call Mel again!!

Mel's Firewood & Tree Service was the best choice I could have made for my tree trimming need. Mel and his crew arrived on time and were very communicative about their plans. They were efficient in their work while being very meticulous. Mine and my neighbor's yards looked the same at the end of the project as they did before the start.
