Customer Reviews
Very disappointed Meade did not even remotely follow the scope of work discussed. Very simple job. The whole point of hiring them was the inability to access out of reach areas. Now it overhangs my street. Visually makes absolutely no sense. Completely destroyed my tree and failed to actually complete the job by trimming the out of reach point. They had a bucket to access these points but failed to do. so, the work is absolutely awful and again not to the scope of work. As a result left untouched, snow will now snap the top of the tree further damaging it beyond what has already occurred. Apparently having a meeting and discussing the scope has no real effect on the quality of work. At this point I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Meade as a result of this situation. Kind of sad. Hoping to have given a positive review to a local business but this again is Very disappointing.
Mead Tree did an excellent job at my house today. They pruned two huge oak trees that form the entryway to my driveway; pruned and cleaned up my big crabapple tree; pruned my redbud; and took down two medium size pine trees. They were courteous, professional, and obviously knew what they were doing. They left the driveway cleaner than it was when they started! This is a small business with a small staff, and I love to "shop local," so I could not have been happier!! See photos for some of final results.
I’d recommend Mead Tree to anyone in need of tree removal. I was originally quoted a very fair price to remove 4 large poplar trees overhanging my property growing on a steep slope in a densely wooded area far off the street. A very difficult job for some, but Mead Tree was able to handle it with ease. On the day of the work, they noticed a few additional trees that could pose a threat, and removed them at no extra cost. They were extremely professional throughout the whole process and did an excellent job cleaning up leaves and branches after the work was done and did no damage to my lawn. This is an honest local company that I’ll trust with all my tree removal needs in the future.
Can't say enough good things about my experience with the Mead Tree team. They did everything that was agreed upon and then some, and left the areas tidy and clean. Mike did an excellent job of explaining my options and making sure I understood what the results would be, and I felt completely comfortable asking him questions and voicing my thoughts. We had a huge dead tree over a power line, and another that needed trimming close to the house and above structures and landscaping. Tree cutting and trimming aren't my favorite ways to spend money, but Mike made the process fun and I got an awesome show the day they came to do the work. A great value and a great company, thanks!
This is the second time that we have used Mead, the first was just for trimming some trees , which they did very well. This time, we needed some trees removed, one of which was falling towards the power line and another towards a neighbors barn. Mike came out within a few days of calling and gave me a quote as we walked around. Ultimately, I had a Maple, two large pine and eight Poplars removed plus a few big Oak limbs removed. The crew showed up on time, was very efficient, courteous and professional. They explained what need to be done and how it was going to be done. The bucket truck did the work on the first day and the big crane showed up on the second day. The family really enjoyed the show, especially watching Josh being lifted up to tie off the strap for the crane. A real aerial act. Cleanup was great. These guys know what they’re doing. We will be having them back again.
