I had an enormous branch fall from a huge poplar in my back yard. The branch was all hollowed out with rot, and I was afraid that it would have made its way into the trunk and I would lose the tree. My house is on a very steep, wooded hill, so getting equipment to the tree would have been extremely difficult or impossible. No problem because Marvin climbs trees. When I contacted Marvin he came out to take a look that very afternoon (a Friday) and gave an initial assessment (he thought the tree could be saved and wouldn’t need to come down), and scheduled to come out at 7am Monday morning. He came out on-time Monday and removed the rest of the branch. The wood, thankfully, was totally healthy near the trunk, so the tree should be fine. The process was totally smooth, fast, and professional. And Marvin is delightful.

We had a huge tree on our front yard, branch fell once and damaged the car. We called Marvin and within 24 hours he already came to cut the tree branches! Now we are safe and no need to worry about storms in the area. Our cars are safe. Thank you, Marvin. Clean job!

Had Marvin Tree Services out to prune some dead branches from a few big tulip poplars in front of the house. Marvin and his crew were highly recommended by our neighbors — and now I know why. They showed up on short notice, arrived early, and worked late into the day to get the job done, finishing with a thorough cleanup. The trees look a lot happier now. Really appreciated Marvin's honesty and integrity. Will be using him again for sure.

We have used Marvin for all of our tree work in NW DC (Forest Hills) for years. After a major storm in June, 2025 five very large trees fell down, blocking Broad Branch Road and our driveway. Marvin and his crew responded very quickly to cut open the driveway and then followed up with more extensive mitigation and removal----all at a very reasonable price. Very pleased with their work.
