I always have the Maltby tree Co. take care of my historic oak. I have them feed it, trim it and do a resistograph of it to check for any decay on the inside. Today I had them do a full trim of not only my oak but the neighbor’s oak tree that practically sits in my driveway. This was the best trim job by far. Arlen was my tree guy for the day and was wonderful. He made sure he got all the dead wood out. He trimmed all the branches overhanging my house from the neighbor’s tree as well. Arlen was very approachable, polite, professional, and friendly. I give this job a 5 star rating as I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend the Maltby tree company.

Skilled work, great communication, reasonable price - totally trust-worthy. Needed a tree cut and others pruned/treated. I preferred to hire an arborist for their expertise, but estimates came in high. Quotes from standard tree services were lower, but many such companies "butcher" trees. I remembered that growing up my neighbor always used Maltby for their quality and value, and I was most pleased to find they still were very much in business. Chris came immediately after I called and did a walk-through of the property with me. Very knowledgeable, he offered reasonable suggestions as to what did and did not need to be done to preserve the beauty of the trees, He emailed me promptly with a detailed quote which was one of the lowest of any estimate received. Services were listed line by line with their associated cost from which I could choose. Work was scheduled a few days later. Arlen and Jason, the nicest crew, came right on time, explained the process, asked if I had any questions or concerns (I did request cutting a few fireplace-sized pieces of the birch tree they were taking down, and they pleasantly obliged.) They did an excellent job, were most careful not to disturb my lawn or landscaping and cleaned up without leaving a trace of debris. I highly recommend Maltby & Co.

I highly recommend Maltby and Co for all your tree needs. We have worked with them over many years and have always been so impressed by how skilled, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable every member of their team is. Last week we had Doug and his team removed two large mature trees, one dead and one diseased. Truly remarkable watching this highly skilled team work, using their large crane to safely remove the trees in a very short time. They always treat our home with utmost respect, taking great care and cleaning up so well afterwards that you wouldn’t know there had been any tree work done. This week Arlen and Hiram performed aerial lift pruning on various mature trees, some that are on the roadside, making sure that they remain safe and healthy. I appreciated the thorough report, after the work was completed, keeping us well informed on the health of the trees. For over two decades we have been depending on the Maltby Company for advice, and their expertise having to do with our outside space. We have a thick healthy lawn, in addition to trees and shrubs that need constant care and Maltby has the experts to assist us. We have had positive interactions with numerous staff, most recently Arlen and Noah. Upon arrival, parking was handled with safety concerns at the forefront. Maltby removed about 3 dozen trees and stumps from my property in Natick. Kevin was a pleasure to work with throughout the process and the crew was professional and SAFE. They brought in a massive crane and coordinated the police detail that was required, removed all the trees in one day and even pruned some bushes. We’re very happy with our experience with Maltby.
