M&R Tree services

I found Matt, the owner of M&R Tree Services via a Google search, as we needed trees removed and stumps ground at two properties in Vancouver. I received bids from several contractores, and part of my due diligence was calling references that were provided by each bidders. When I called Matt's references, one of the things that stood out was the every reference was eager to talk about what a great job M&R had done and how pleased they were with their skill, efficiency, and professionalism. In particular, one reference was a building contractor who explained that they had cycled through many other tree companies but once they found M&R Tree Services they now send all their tree work Matt's way. After completing the work on our two properties, I can definitely see why M&R's prior customers were so happy with their work. Matt and his crew were a joy to watch. They are very efficient and skilled, and although they were fast, they were also careful to plan each operation so that it was done safely and accurately. The coordination and communication within the crew was excellent. Matt was very reasonable to work with on both jobs and his communication was great. He did everything he said he was going to do, and went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right. Beyond all these positives, Matt's prices were reasonable relative to the other bids I received. As far as I'm concerned, from here forward I plan to call M&R Tree Services for any other tree work and I've given out Matt's contact information to other neighbors since our jobs were complete. Give them a call if you have any tree work, you'll be happy you did!

I bought a house with a huge tree that had never been properly maintained, and I was worried that it might fall on my house. There were dead areas that needed to be cleaned up, and the previous owner had done a hatchet job on it. It's a beautiful tree that provides lovely shade, and blocks the power poles and lines. I now feel confident the tree will be healthy and not a danger. Many thanks to Matt and his crew! I even got to meet Matt's dog, Maple the Corgi!

After a frustrating experience with a franchise arborist, we decided to look elsewhere — and I found Matt. From start to finish, Matt was a true professional. No secretaries, no salesmen, no managers. Just Matt. This hedge cedar row had been neglected for the better part of a decade by the previous tenants. It was a big job. Matt reduced the height by approximately four feet, and I’m sure the width was nearly double that. Matt and his crew were five-star professionals from start to finish. Sir, I owe you a five-star dinner. My view is no longer obscured, and you provided top-shelf service at an excellent value. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with you, sir. 🙏🏻 Also, a big thank you to my neighbor. ;-)

We had a very good experience using M&R Tree Services. Matt and his crew did an excellent job trimming a very old , very large Douglas Fir tree that sits right on our lot line. Matt was timely responding to calls, arrived on time, and stuck to the quote. He did exactly what we asked for. Worked well with giving my neighbor and myself respectful helpful and professional communication and advice. It turned out better than we could have asked for. He was very carful to keep the tree balanced and healthy. He really listened to what we wanted done. They were also so careful with our yards and clean up. Only tree in my yard or I’d use them again without a doubt!

M&R Tree services did a fantastic job removing my elm tree and they were the least expensive quote I got from 5 différents companies. I highly recommend them
