Couldn’t be happier with Lou’s. I got multiple quotes and they were the most affordable. We had 2 Norway Spruce that needed to come down directly behind our house. Everything went smooth and you would never guess they were even here. They worked quick and cleaned up every last bit. Thank you!

A tree from our neighbor’s yard fell onto our playhouse and garage. I contacted Lou’s and got a response within 24 hours. They are friendly and super communicative. The work they did removing the tree was phenomenal! 10/10 recommend!!!

Lou's guys are great to work with. I received a phone call back within a day after calling, (The only business that called me back). They got me in within a week of coming out to do an estimate. They kept in touch with me so I would know when to expect them. I knew my requests were unusual, but they honored them and did the job very well. They cleaned up everything. I did not get a bunch of quotes, but I found that they were a reasonable price. I will use them again next spring for some of my other trees.

We received a quote to have a messy large hickory nut tree removed and stump ground. I had several quotes and have to say that I was most impressed with the professionalism and communication skills with Lou. He carefully explained exactly how he would go about doing this along with what precautionary measures he would take. Very reasonably priced especially for all that he does. Cant wait to not have to worry about the tree falling on our house and my dog not getting sick from eating the bitter nuts!! And yes, less rodents up to our back porch!!

On November 18th, 2025, I reached out to several tree companies in regards to a helpless kitty stuck very high in the top of a tree. Out of all of the companies that I reached out to, there were only two that responded! One was unable to help until morning, and the other was Lou’s Cutting Edge. They sent someone out with a bucket truck within a short time. When they arrived it was just as a young man who had seen the post on FB about the kitty and came to help (he was an arborist, skilled at climbing) had just moments before got the kitty down to safety! In my excitement, I thanked the man with the bucket truck, but neglected to find out his name or which company he worked for, but this morning I received a very nice phone call from Brooke, the office manager at Lou’s, who wanted to ensure that I knew they sent a truck out the night before, but it arrived shortly after the cat was rescued. I am so impressed with the compassion shown by this small company, and the kindness of their employees! A lot of businesses could learn about true customer service from Lou’s Cutting Edge!
