LongView Tree Care

A good friend referred me to Cameron at LongView. I’m so glad she did. Cameron is very knowledgeable, honest, organized and really listened to my specific needs. I had him do a big pruning job including removing large limbs from huge cedar trees and pruning a variety of sensitive smaller trees including a special old cherry tree. All cut material and debris was removed from area. I’m very fussy and I’m so happy to know I can call on Cameron for future work.

From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, Cameron was exemplary in his professionalism and execution of the work I requested. Namely, pruning back a huge, old Tupelo tree and a Hawthorne tree, both struggling with the weight of dead/overgrown limbs that had never been properly trimmed. I watched Cameron as he deftly climbed the Tupelo and made his cuts using a hand saw and pole pruner... no chainsaws! It was incredible to watch as he carefully maneuvered in and around the treetop, taking time to assess what needed attention. The results were fantastic! Everyone who has come to the house remarks on how beautiful the trees now look. In addition to scaling back the overgrown pittosporum hedges in my backyard, Cameron also trimmed back the Redwood branches from the neighbor's tree that had been dangerously overhanging my roof and pergola in my backyard. Cameron is meticulous in his work and watching him is almost like watching a carefully choreographed dance. He does not rush, yet he completed everything (and more) that I'd requested in an amazingly short amount of time. Cameron is thoughtful, an excellent listener, communicator and passionate about his work. I have worked with other arborists, in some cases the arborist quotes me for the job, but the actual work is done by staff. Cameron assesses the trees in great detail, provides the quote and is also the person that trims the trees! My large trees look amazing. Attention to detail in his method is obvious. Cameron did an excellent job trimming my olive and podocarpus trees. He always arrived on time for doing the estimate and the actual work. I like that he used battery saws and blowers to cut back on noise and gas emissions. He cleaned up all debris in the yard.

I'm so thrilled and relieved to now have Cameron for my tree care! He first came out and assessed then refreshed our four Japanese Maple trees. The cleanup and pruning he did has resulted in beautiful foliage and structure this year. He also removed the dangerous dead limbs on some huge Camphor trees that were difficult to access. Recently, he came back and pruned and revitalized our four large oak trees out front. I highly recommend Cameron; he's thoughtful, careful, listens to what I want and engages me in the process.
