Lindquist Tree and Landscaping

I found Lindquist in the New Fairfield paper I receive each week. I called and Michelle got Kevin to come and give me a quote. The price was very reasonable. I agreed and set an appointment. Kevin arrived as promised and did an exceptional job. Very neat and as promised. I would be delighted to recommend Lindquist to everyone.

The tax district I live in signed a one winter season contract with Lindquist Landscaping to plow and sand/salt our 4 roads when the weather was bad. We started out the winter with very little snow or ice, and didn't notice that he didn't seem to know how to do it. Once we were regularly getting storms, it became apparent he thought one pass and another going back, in the very middle of the road would do it. Half the road (on either side of the middle) was not plowed. Ever. As a board member, I was getting calls and complaints that residents couldn't get to work because our roads were super slippery, not plowed and no sand or salt. I called his cell phone and messaged him many times. He answered the first call and ignored me after that. I ended up giving his number to anyone who complained so they could call him. He did show up again eventually to do his one pass down and then back again. Lindquist was paid thousands of dollars for doing almost nothing. And to ignore my texts was very unprofessional. We will NEVER hire him for anything, ever again. Nor will we recommend him. He got one star rating because I couldn't give him zero. Maybe he is good at landscaping. But he knows nothing about plowing or customer service.

Waited to the last minute to get firewood this year. Linguist Tree and Landscaping still was able to deliver 2 cords of seasoned wood. They showed up on time and were great to deal with.

We hired Kevin and his crew to clean up the yard to sell and then clear out my parents house after it sold. On both occasions, the job was done immediately. There was 61 years worth of things and memories in the house, and Kevin was so extremely kind and sensitive to come to me with anything he came across that might be special or valuable to see if I wanted to keep it. What I also loved was that the good furniture was separated from the dumpster items so it could be donated. The whole crew was efficient, friendly and cheerful to work with. I couldn’t have been more pleased in this emotional time closing out my parents house. I would highly recommend Kevin for any work you need done.
