Lee's Tree Services, NC

Lee’s Tree Services came out today and took out an intrusive holly tree and trimmed up a tree and removed dead branches on a wiping cherry tree. The work Rick Lee did was totally awesome. Finished in 2 hours and cleaned up everything nicely. And, it was reasonably priced. I recommend anyone needing tree service done give Rick a call.

We initially hired Lee’s Trees to remove a massive, very old white oak that had died in our front yard. Given its proximity to power lines, the job was complex, and Rick and his team handled the canopy removal with care and professionalism. While the unpredictable North Carolina weather caused delays, we appreciated Rick’s communication and effort during the early phases of the project. However, I’m updating this review nearly a year later because the job still remains unfinished. After finally dropping the last portion of the trunk—which had stood for months—Rick promised to return within two weeks to level the remaining stump to about 3 inches above ground. Instead, what remains is a large, unsightly stump over 2 feet tall. He also agreed to clean up another tree in the front yard as a courtesy for the extended delay, but that has not happened. Despite multiple follow-ups via text and phone, we’ve received no response. Unfortunately, what began as a positive experience has become a long-standing source of frustration. The incomplete work has become an eyesore—not just for us, but for our neighbors, several of whom have asked who did the work. At this point, we cannot in good conscience recommend Lee’s Trees. The job was paid for, but not completed.

Prompt, efficient and friendly. Trees were removed fine HOWEVER I also paid for stump grinding and removal and that was NOT done. Lee left 2 huge mounds in the yard which I questioned because I said it was supposed to be flat and I w a red to plant grass. He said he could not take the mulch mixture to the dump and would come back; also that the shavings needed time to settle. I sent follow-up pictures and complaints and he said he would come back to handle. I had to pay another company to clear the piles (which looked like graves), and discovered the stump was not removed at all. I did not get the full service I paid for and he has stopped responding to my messages. The service was NOT completed as agreed to.

However, I’m revising my review because the stump grinding we paid for was never completed. Despite follow-up texts and reassurances, the large stump was left unfinished. Disappointed in the lack of follow-through.” I recently hired Lee’s Tree Services to trim trees on my property and I couldn’t be more pleased. From start to finish they were professional, highly skilled and left my yard spotless. The trees look great and I appreciate their attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Lee's Tree Services did a great job getting these raggedy rotten trees cut and removed! They were eye sores for sure and dropping not only sticks and small branches but entire heavy limbs! It was time for them to go! THANKS AGAIN was shocked it was only a 1 man job! Shows you KNOW what you’re doing! Hopefully all the neighbors that kept interrupting you turn into paying customers!
