LaPila Arborists and Design

I had been searching for an arborists, tree removal company for a while and while searching and reading reviews I came across LaPila Arborists and Design. Called him and explained that when we purchased our home, we discovered we had fruit trees that were unattended and wasn't sure if they were worth saving. He assessed the situation and it was shared these fruit trees was at least 100 years old and in good condition, just needed some love and care. He started treat the trees and reshaping them and we were amazed in the 1st year of treatment we started getting healthy apples and pears. We were in awww and so appreciative of his expertise and work. He was personable and easy to talk to and he really cares of the work he puts out. His price was reasonable compared to others. Its been 4 years he's been attending to our fruit trees and we would not have it any other way. We are very happy with his talent and work. Great company to work with. Thank you Al for your continuance service every year. Side note: Al also cut down 18 pine trees and grinded them to the ground. You couldn't even tell there were trees there unless we showed you pictures. Nice work. The tree in the picture is a pear tree. It has bloomed beautifully :)

We just had a tree taken down by LaPila Arborists. We love the work they do. They are neat, friendly, experienced, extremely professional and knowledgeable AND affordable. This is not the first time we have used them. They also have treated our Beech trees for Beech Leaf Disease. We plan on continuing to use them for all our tree needs in the future. We strongly recommend them.

Absolutely, hire this dynamic duo (Al and Jessica) if you need tree removal or care. This review speaks primarily to full, partial and pruning of three trees in our yard. To watch this professional husband and wife team choreograph their work was like watching professional ice skaters. Though the analogy may seem odd, Al and Jessica are a team using precision, communication and safety to complete their work. I was thoroughly impressed. Pros: safety first and foremost, assurance, intelligence, pleasant, trustworthy, cleanliness, hard-working. Cons: the wait time. It may be two or three months before they can get to your job (they'll provide an estimate) but ultimately, weather becomes the biggest factor in delays. Definitely worth the wait. Personally, because I was so taken by the great job they did (08/14/24) on our hickory trees — removing an 85 foot (+/-) tree which was too close to the house and had dead branches; taking an equally tall (and dying) tree and cutting it to half-size allowing us to keep the trunk for woodpeckers and squirrels and pruning a large branch that was hanging over the road — I would never consider calling anyone else for future service for the remainder of our trees. There are plenty of places out there that will cut trees but not necessarily correctly or with true care. Al and Jessica bring experience, knowledge, care and peace of mind to their customers. As I said, a dynamic duo.

Al and Jessica are professional, knowledgeable, competent and have all the big equipment needed for any size job. They took care of everything we needed (tree pruning including a large cherry right next to the house, large shrub removal, etc.) and their cleanup was spotless! Al also identified the underlying issue with a diseased ash tree on our property and we'll be having them over again in the fall to treat it. My wife and I couldn't be happier with both them and their work and we will highly recommend them to friends, family and neighbors. In fact, our neighbor just had a large branch come down on her property and she immediately asked for Al's contact info because she was so impressed with their work too.

Contacted LaPila Arborists for a quote on a tree resting on my house, I spoke with the owner Al and he promptly came out and gave me an estimate. His quote was excellent compared to competitors and his work was top notch. Al and his team were professional and knowledgeable, they quickly removed the trees and even cleaned the area after they finished. Excellent service, I highly recommend them.
