This was my second time using Mario. He was very reasonably priced and removed several trees for me on a vacant lot. Great communication and sticking to the original schedule! Before and after photos show how much more open the lot looks now.

My name is Dave, I'm a homeowner and slightly Disabled American. I attempted to first cut down my front lawn Lake Birch tree (this part I managed) and then pull a stump myself (that part I could not) but found the task beyond difficult and endangering my health. I called around over two weeks ago and happened upon Monster Tree Service of Lake County, who's salesperson was speaking to my next door neighbor. I wanted it done that week but they told me “You’ll get it done when it’s convenient for us. Two weeks rolled by with me being ignored both telephone and emails not responded to. I attempted to reschedule two days prior to the time ‘he’ was available (nothing was confirmed) and within five minutes the owner called me to chew me out for cancelling. He was driving but felt the need to reach out and threaten me with “a hundred and fifty dollar ($150 dollar) cancellation fee” after first telling me that “If you can’t deal with our time table, you should go with another company,” essentially cancelling the service with insults. The owner of Monster, Bill Juenger, is exactly that, the proverbial Monster, a rude, insulting, pretentious, prima donna who talks down to customers he does not even know. I hung up on him, sent a cancellation email, and again called around. Now I state this negative because it is such a contrast, such a dichotomy, it is remarkable to the positive. Often as a consumer, it can be hit or miss. Well, I got lucky when I found Laguna’s Tree Service. I spoke to Mario of Laguna's Tree Service and he was very accommodating. Not only was his quote very attractive, but he came out the very next day. When they arrived (on time), Martin jumped out, and without pause, cut what was left of the double stumped tree into little handle-able pieces for me…basically, firewood. He even saved a longer piece for me for my mushroom growing experiment. But here's the thing. I expected the little stump grinder I saw in YouTube Videos when I was thinking of renting one. Lagunas BROUGHT A TANK! The biggest Stump Grinder I had ever seen. Mario got to work and I shot video as this thing ate the stump like lunch. I asked for at least several inches so I could plant a new tree. I got a crater! PH&*K!NG AMAZING! I timed them. In at 4:00pm, out at 4:21pm with the huge machine off, grinding, and then reloaded in 21 minutes. I was blown away. And both guys, not only polite, not only professional, but personable. The stump is now a healthy mix of dirt and wood chips, which will actually create a great bed for the new tree. I sincerely would recommend Lagunas Tree Service to anyone who needed tree service work. Thank you Mario and Martin! Lifesavers!

Wonderful to work with and reasonable prices! Had a giant willow tree that needed to be removed because it was splitting. Gave us a quote, we accepted and they came the next day. They were amazing at how quickly and cleanly they removed the tree. I was sad to see my beautiful tree go Mario was kind enough to cut us some circles of the trunk as a keepsake. Amazing company and will definitely call in the future for any other tree services! HIGHLY Recommend!
