Paul from Kreft Tree service in Wausau and Schofield Wisconsin was easy to work with. His price to remove my dead ash tree completely. To include all branches and wood was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Kreft tree service for all your tree needs now and in the future. I had to leave town when Paul and crew came to cut down the tree. I was very pleased with how well the yard looked when I got home. Everything was cleaned up so nice and the only thing that was missing was that big ole 60 foot high dead tree by the side of my residence. What a huge relief. Thank you!!!

We've had an usually high rainfall within the last month and our apple tree was uprooted. This was a perfect time to also remove some large bushes from our backyard. Kreft started the project for me on on the morning of Friday, June 21st. Despite all the rain we've received, they decide to drive their equipment into my yard, as their quote was with equipment on my lawn(I didn't learn this until they already started working). This left slight tire tracks on my lawn as soon as they started the work. I greeted them and told them I will be home all day to let them know they can talk to me if they run into any issues. They left at the end of the workday and left all their equipment. They did not bother to inform me they were leaving or if there were any issues prior to leaving. I went over to check the work and found out they left the equipment because they overloaded their trailer and could not pull it out of my yard. Again, with the amount of rain we've received I would have assumed they would be more careful and could have loaded their trailer only halfway. The following Monday, June 24th, I tried reaching out but was unsuccessful. Tuesday, June 25th, they showed up and was able to remove their equipment from my lawn with professional tow trucks. After their equipment was removed, the tire tracks from their truck and trailer were deep and very visible. As their equipment was being removed, I spoke with them and we came to an agreement that they would finish half of the project, fix the damages to the lawn (free of charge), I would pay them for the services already provide, then continue to finish up the rest of the project. I've reached out many times. Upon each successful attempt, Kreft said their phones have been having issues and they will come over to finish the first part of the project and fix my lawn within the next few days. It is now September 17. The tire tracks on my lawn are still visible. They will not respond to emails, phone calls, or text messages. Kreft has very poor communications. They've lied about returning to fix my lawn. They make excuses that their phones are having issues, yet don't return my emails. My advice, hire another company. All the reviews on google about poor communication is not uncommon.

Paul came back to remove the second half of a tree that had fallen. Great communication and great work! Recommended and would definitely work with Paul again.

They did a great job! Very reasonable price.I could tell they take care in not damaging anything. I've used them before and will again.
