Joe's Tree Care

It really saddens me to feel I have no choice and no recourse but to come here and change what was once a very positive review of Joe’s Tree Care. Joe cut down a very large maple tree for me on June 21, 2025 which he said he would cut into manageable pieces to where I could at least roll logs into a fire. After the tree was cut and Joe was paid, Joe said the tree was bigger than he originally thought and therefore, he would need to bring me a tool I could roll the logs with. On July 1, since the tool had not arrived, I texted Joe and ask him if he would please bring the tool the next time he was in the area. Joe apologize for the inconvenience and said he would bring the tool by. On July 8, I text Joe again and asked when he might be bringing the tool by. Joe responded saying he would bring the tool on Thursday, July 10. Needless to say, the tool has never arrived and I ultimately had to pay someone an additional 500 dollars to cut the trunk into manageable pieces for me. I am extremely disappointed and honestly feel I deserve some sort of compensation, although I am not at all fooling myself into believing that would ever happen. In response to the reply from the business on this review; I never expected to be offered equipment to finish the job myself. I expected the company to complete the job it was hired to do like all parties agreed upon previously as seen in the text. If this job was done at a $1500 discount are you telling your customers that you normally charge $3000 to cut down a tree and leave a giant mess in your customers yard with chunks of wood so large they cannot be moved and a 3 foot tall tree stump which you agreed to cut to the ground? I previously thought leaving this review would be the appropriate recourse but perhaps a small claims suit would be more appropriate for circumstances such as this where companies refuses to accept responsibility and instead attempt to gaslight their dissatisfied customers with erroneous responses to unsatisfactory reviews of their services.

Joe's Tree Care trimmed large trees for me and removed all limbs from my rental property in China Grove today. The work was expertly performed at the estimated price. They were very prompt and kept me fully informed. I highly recommend this business! I would always use them again. You will be very happy you called Joe's.

Joe and his team recently cut down a few trees for us and did a fantastic job! They were very professional and easy to work with. They were very thorough and didn't leave a single stick behind after cleaning up. I will definitely be reaching out to Joe again the next time I need any trees removed.

Joe has been out to our house twice, once to cut a tree down and again to trim the trees around our house and both times he did a great job! He was fast and he was very fair priced! He's a very nice guy and I'd definitely recommend him!

I saw Joe's Tree Care cutting the limbs of a few trees in my neighbor's yard. They were doing a great job so I decided to call them and get some information. The owner cam over and gave me a great estimate that I couldn't refuse. He gave me options to save money, was very informative and knowledgeable on arborist recommendations and tree characteristics. He said he would be out on Monday morning at 9am to do the job. Just like he said, at 9am on Monday there was a small work crew taking care of the job. By 10:30/11:00am they had the limbs cut, ground up and were heading out. Yesterday a bad storm came through and I was so glad that we went ahead and got this done. I would highly recommend.
