JD's Tree And More

After months of being told the owner was coming back to finish the job, texts and phone calls, he never showed. They originally took down a large maple tree in my yard, and it was agreed his crew would then cut the bigger pieces down so they would be managable to move or further cut down with an ax. They also agreed to grind the stump from this same tree, and the person they had using the equipment had no idea how to use it, the stump is still there with burn marks on it from the lack of knowledge of the person using the equipment (they told us there was metal in the tree cause the operator was causing the equipment to spark because he didn't know how to use it, I was watching). They left clothes and trash in my yard they never cleaned up, and the large chunks they were supposed to cut have been sitting in my yard for a year now because the owner kept promising he was coming to finish the job. Terrible customer service, lack of maturity and accountability, and don't pay this guy until the work is finished, IF you choose to hire him. UPDATE: He's now threatening to sue my husband for leaving a bad review 😆. I STRONGLY urge you to not work with this guy

I’m leaving only a 2 because on the phone he was professional and answered all questions. We made an agreed appointment and sent pictures as he requested. On the day of the agreed appointment time he was a no call no show in which was a complete waste of time for my family and me waiting for him. I texted him the next day in which it said he seen the message but no response. I understand if the work is too much or they are not capable but a simple text would suffice then wasting our time with a no call no show. I’m trying to keep the work local but so far very unprofessional. Hopefully the next client gets better service then me.

Professionals you can trust, Had tree's in the kv Powerlines. There crew Did a fantastic job, On My tree removal. Ray the climber made sure safety of our property was a must. There Equipment was bigger then most companies in the area. I have never had a tree service treat me like family, like they did. Would highly recommend to anyone. Small business is a hard biz. These guys are big enough to get the job done. But small enough to care. in My opinion best in the Michigan Areas. Tree species and knowledge is unmatched. I'm a senior also. Hired JD for a 160’ hedge trim and take off a cracked limb from a mulberry tree. Excellent work and he gave us good ideas for the future. I also had a dead pine come part way down and was hung up on another tree. This was not part of the original job, however, he really helped me out by cutting it down the rest of the way and cleaned it up. This is someone I would recommend for your property maintenance and I look forward to having JD and his crew back.

We had a tree go down across our private road that services our home and two other elderly neighbors. My husband was out of town and I called them at 8 am and by 10 they were here and had the entire thing cleaned up for us. The owner JD was the one who came with one other gentleman. He was so nice, and extremely efficient. I was so thankful for them and their help. I would HIGHLY recommend them!
