Jacob Gilliam Tree Care

We recently had Jacob and his wonderful crew out to our home for extensive tree trimming of our oaks and the neighbors trees that are over our yard. We had 3 quotes and their was the best. But we don't go by price alone, you know that can get you in trouble. What actually made us choose them was quite a few things. They have excellent credentials. Jacob was really great at explaining how they would trim for the health of the trees. He answered my questions when I was panicked because we were having our septic replaced and they were cutting some of the roots. Jacob truly cares about trees and his passion shows in the committees he sits on in the community and his extensive knowledge. He is all about the safety of his crew and you can see from the comradery they are like a well oiled machine when they are working and get along great. They took care to clean up everything before they left. If you are considering hiring someone, look no further. The only thing is because they are so good we had to wait for them, but it was worth the wait!

Jacob assesed our tree last year and we were finally able to have our large Laurel oak removed. His price was great and honored our $115 fee from the assessment last year and took it off the bill. The crew was amazing, safe, worked fast, incredibly professional, and when they left, except for the stump to be removed by others its like they were never there. Highly recommend!!!!

These guys were terrific! We have a very large oak that has been hanging over our house, we have had a lot of tree trimmers attempt to trim the branches that extend over the roof. Most say they’re fine where they are! Only to realize that was just an excuse not to be able to do the job. Jacob was on the job with 2 others promptly at 8:00 and by 11:30 the tree was trimmed and the yard was clean. Very impressed with all the equipment they had to remove the debris quickly. They all had safety equipment on and worked well together. Would definitely recommend them!

Jacob arrived exactly when he said he would, with three trucks, a full crew, and every piece of equipment in perfect order. The trucks were spotless, the tools well-maintained, and the team looked sharp and professional in proper safety gear. They stayed connected through headsets and worked together like a well-rehearsed team. Jacob clearly knows his craft. He safely removed a large royal palm from our yard without a single bit of damage to the surrounding area, then trimmed our live oak and magnolia with precision. He carries both liability and workers’ compensation insurance, which gave us added confidence in the quality and professionalism of his operation. When they were done, the cleanup was immaculate — you’d never know they’d been there except for how much better everything looked. Jacob is a true professional who takes pride in his work. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.
