Hired J&K tree service to remove 3 trees in my yard a big Oak that was right at my front door that was hollowed out in the trunk but still growing up top, they safely removed it with no damage to my house giving me peace of mind. They also removed 2 pine trees and trimmed some other that overhung my house. J & K were very professional, fast on getting the job done and grinding the stumps and cleaning up all the debris. I would fully recommend them for all your tree cutting needs.

My wife and I had a large number of trees on our property that were overhanging the house or otherwise causing problems. We spoke with three or four different tree services, but J & K really stood out compared to the rest. We initially spoke with Jason, who walked our property with us to assess the work that we needed done. He took careful, attentive notice of each of the trees we were showing him, taught us about what kinds of trees we had, and gave some thoughts on how each of them might be felled. The quoted price and his plan for getting the work done were great, but what stood out to us was how he clearly laid out what preparations we could make and what things we could do to make the work easier and safer. Not a single other service we talked to did the same. We settled on a plan for removal that was exactly what we were hoping for. J & K would spend an entire workday on our property and do as much as they could, and we made it very clear that what we wanted was to get as many trees on the ground as possible. We were willing to do any and all cleanup work ourselves if it meant felling the trees we had hoped to get down in time. We were somewhat apprehensive that we might be able to get enough of the work done in one day, but Jason was confident and willing to work with us. On the day of, Jason and his crew, consisting of JJ, Chad, and Bo, showed up to do the work. The whole thing went unbelievably smoothly! Jason was there for a while to direct the work before leaving to attend other business matters, and JJ was in charge from then on. He was clearly very knowledgeable and focused, Chad was very funny, and Bo seemed to be learning but worked hard and independently when not being actively shown how to do this or that. They were all very kind and polite, while staying on task and performing the job with our preferences and care for our belongings clearly in mind. We worked with them all day (though they outworked us by every measure) and ordered pizza for lunch. They seemed to enjoy that, but I don't think they rested for even half an hour before they got right back to it. I myself needed much more of a rest! They stayed true to what Jason had agreed on with us, focusing on getting the trees down with less care for cleanup and removal, but we were still absolutely shocked at how clean everything was when they were done. They had a skid steer with them which they used to push everything to places we indicated the brush could go. By the end of the day, every single tree we had hoped for was felled, nearly all of them were chopped up and moved, and some time was even left over for stump grinding. My wife and I are overjoyed with the work they performed. Every tree fell where it was supposed to, the attention to detail was constant even into the late day, and not only were the workers clearly skilled, they were also professional and entertaining. J & K is absolutely going to be our first choice for any future work we need done on our property. They exceeded our every expectation in both service and the amount of work done, and I've already recommended them to my neighbors. I will certainly be calling them again.
