Huston's Tree Service

Excellent, professional work. Removed a large oak tree right next to our house that had died. Price seemed fair, although I didn't shop around. Very pleased with the knowledge, service, and communication. Boone was great to answer all of my questions and Katie was very responsive to all emails. Will definitely go back for future work.

I had a large oak and ash tree cleaned up and trimmed. They did a great job and cleaned up very well. They even arrived early! I have been using Boone and his crew for almost 10 years and have always had great service.

I did not hire Huston but my next door neighbor did. They had some trees to remove between my neighbor’s house and my garage. Without asking, they pulled some landscaping lights on my property and did not put them back in when they left. They knocked loose a brick in our retaining wall and did not put it back. They effectively buried the sidewalk on my side of the property with large logs and tree debris as they cut it down while I was doing a project in my yard, making the path impassable for hours. While they did clean up most of the tree debris and logs and were friendly, they left a ton of saw dust, small tree debris, and dirt all over our plants and sidewalk. They also raked out some of the sticks and in doing so, killed a bunch of our plants that were just sprouting. They used a leaf blower and swept my neighbors yard and driveway, but not extend that courtesy to my property. I would have appreciated if they had asked permission to drop tons of debris on my yard and then taken the time to clean my yard as well as they did their clients. I’m only thankful they covered our son’s sandbox with plywood so it didn’t break while they were dropping logs and branches everywhere in my yard.

I couldn't be happier with the experience I had with Huston Tree Service. Chad and his crew were incredibly efficient and professional. What really impressed me was how thorough they were - no mess left behind and no damage to the yard. They made a big job look easy!

Boone and Katy run the service and both seemed fair and reasonable. My scheduled day was rained out. I needed the work done sooner than later so, I agreed on a day that I was out of town. Boone and I had discussed the work to be done in detail. Remove one tree , cut back another for better views, and 2 burning bushes needed a serious cut back. When I returned home it looked ruff. One landscape lighting post had the top removed and was missing, a large boulder bordering the granite walkway had been turned and nocked out of place. Burning bushes had barely been touched and the tops were uneven and any part that was hard to reach got missed. I sent photos to Boone and he did return but didn’t accept any responsibility for the poor work. Lots of dead trimmed branches still visible, ragged trimming at best. They charged my credit card immediately even though I was told it was taken to schedule the job. I got no resolution with Boone’s return visit and he denied most all of my concerns.
