I had Hodgson out to grind a stump. The communication was great via email and text. Of the 4 companies I contacted, they offered the best price. They were efficient and professional on site. I will be hiring them again take care of a tree that needs some care.

I had a very overgrown evergreen tree in my front yard that was in need of a good cut and reshape. Sean was very knowledgeable about the type of tree and what needed to be done to reshape, cut back and still maintain the integrity of the tree. I was able to get an estimate done the same day I called, and scheduled the service within a week of calling. Reasonably priced for the quality of work this company does as well. We are about to use Hodgson Tree Service again to take out a dead tree that poses a hazard. We had a tree downed in a storm a couple of years ago that was handled by them as well. We could not believe what an excellent job they did in removing all signs of the tree. They cut it up into firewood rounds for us plus the clean-up of all the messy limbs and other debris was impeccable. It was as if they were never there, aside from the wonderful pile of rounds we later split. That was a nice surprise, especially for the value! The crew was timely, friendly, and efficient. The cost was extremely reasonable for the amount of work involved. They are now our go-to service for any tree-related issues. Cannot recommend them highly enough!
