I had an excellent experience with Herford Tree Service here in Estacada. Nathan, the owner, is extremely skilled and knowledgeable—he really knows his craft and it shows in the quality of his work. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood my options. What impressed me most was how he and his crew went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job. If you’re looking for a tree service you can trust, I highly recommend Nathan and his team.

We had Herford's Tree Service do a lot of tree work. They took out some very tall pines that were topped or dying. They had to bring the trees down among a stand of trees and did an amazing job of doing so. They also cleaned out some dead or dying alders. It's impressive at how fast a chipper can chip a large tree! All their equipment was of a size that could be transported with pickup trucks so no big bucket truck was needed on the property. They also have an amazing remote operated stump grinder that gets rid of stumps in no time. We are very happy with their work.

Excellent customer service! Quick turnaround and very helpful. We had a tree fall on our roof and they took care of it quickly and professionally. Highly recommend this company. Both Nathan and Rebecca were great.

Came recommended as great service. Just needed a stump ground that is literally on the curb strip. An easy job by any means. An easy fit from one job to another. They took the time to talk with me three times, one to schedule an appointment, one to ask if I could send them photo's and bid the project from the pics, which was great for me and them. They didn't need to come see it and waste valuable time. The final call was the owner and he wanted to talk about it and get pictures again. Great no problem. He said He'd get me a bid by the next day. Four days later, still no bid and no response to my updated request for a bid. Frustrating when you're trying to give people work and they just ghost you. Why even spend that time? I'm sure they do good work but their follow through questionable at best.

An honestly incredible experience! We had an 80-foot Douglas Fir removed after it died this spring, and the Herford team was a dream to work with. We got three quotes for the job, including from a tree service we had previously used, and Herford beat them all by a wide margin. Most impressive though was the expertise and care that the team conducted the work. Every one of the guys were kind, professional, detailed, and thorough. Our yard looked better after they left than it did before. And they were also quite gracious with our inquisitive 13-month-old looking on! Thank you Herford! We will continue to sing your praises and direct anyone we can to utilize your team!
