This company was professional from getting the estimate to the finished job. They went above and beyond! We are very pleased with everything!. The employees were polite and hard-working and really excel at their jobs. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing tree service. For sure we will call them again when we need them. Kudos to Brian, Michelle, Dustin, Franco, Ernesto, and Robert and any others I may have missed.

Large oak tree's roots strangled one sprinkler head and moving outward above ground. Once my HOA told me I was responsible for the roots (aka the tree), I had flashbacks from what my oak trees in Chesapeake, VA did to my irrigation system and eventually the walkway. I needed the best. Researched the internet for four from our approved HOA list of "selected tree service contractors." Reached out to 3 -- 1 never called back; another was late responding; and, Hammock Tree Service (Michelle) responded. I bombarded Brian and Michelle with emails, questions, change-of-mind and everything in between from a customer new to the area and not good experience with most contractors. I also vetted him through another homeowner (since I saw his equipment in the community in late 2024). On June 8, 2025 Brian Hammock visited the property and walked around the tree and the yard with me and answered all of my concerns and questions. His approach was simple -- "... based on your sprinkler experience, concerns about limbs falling on your roof, and the above ground ... it's your call ... I can remove the tree for X$, but I'd also recommend you let me chase these roots for the SAME X$." No brainer since I paid much more for my smaller root trees in Chesapeake, VA. I appreciate his directness, timeliness, courtesy ... BOTTOM LINE: I got much more than I paid for ... No more leaves which our HOA is slow to timely collect; no swaying or falling limbs especially during the high winds and rainstorms; no more worrying about insurance increase if the tree limbs fall on roof or someone else's property; and, most importantly -- peace when away. Sharing a few photos of before, during and after. To protect other homeowners' privacy, did not share videos which detail the work Brian Hammock, his team, and support equipment brings to their jobs. Just a joke, but wished I had this team in Chesapeake, VA when I had a tree company on annual retainer to help maintain my oak, pine and other tree forest. Thanks, Hammock Tree Service!

The professionals at Hammock Tree Service were amazing. Absolutely professional, incredibly safe and efficient. Cleaned up as they went. Left nothing but the sawdust to fill the hole where a huge Live Oak tree had to be euthanized due to rot. Sad experience losing the tree but what an incredible job they did. Minimal damage to the yard where the very heavy logs were laid down and they filled them with no visible signs. The equipment left no damage. Well done Brian and gang. Would highly recommend Hammock and will continue to use them as this is our second time using them and very pleased.
