Great Oaks Tree Service

The team was professional and worked with such harmony! My tree was probably equivalent to 3-4 trees, it was matured. The team was careful to make sure the heavy equipment did not damage the grass or cement. The location of the tree required them to carefully position the base of the equipment. Highly recommended! They completed the work on a timely manner.

Our 3 large trees came down safely and the team was nice, but everything else didn’t go as smoothly as we would have liked. They only used 1 piece of plywood to protect the lawn from the tractor going back and forth in the yard. We were left with 2 large lanes of dead grass going from the road to our backyard. This was disappointing since it could’ve been prevented by putting more plywood down to protect the lawn. The large trunk pieces weren’t lowered slowly, but free fell causing large holes/dents in the yard. The team did come back to fill them with dirt upon request. When grinding the stumps, we were left with huge piles of dirt/mulch. I knew the mulch would be left, but I didn’t expect them to be nearly that big. We were able to work with the project manager to get the excess removed. The side trees were cut shorter, but no reshaping or angling was done. Work was completed in a timely manner and they communicated responsively throughout the project.

Nathan and Great Oaks were incredible to work with. We had a gigantic silver maple that 5 other companies wouldn't touch. Nathan showed up and had 0 concern. They we able to remove it without any trouble and got it done in 6 hours. I highly recommend Great Oaks and would use them again without question.

The Great Oaks team did a great job trimming huge trees in our yard. B/c our backyard is not accessible to big equipment they had to use a tree climber for the trimming. Fun to watch! Working with Nate was easy - he stopped over to discuss my project, sent a quote right away, checked in during the work and was very flexible to add on a few more trees that needed trimming. Very reasonable price, friendly team, efficient, responsible, cut and stacked the wood we wanted to keep and cleaned everything up nicely. Will definitely call Nate and the Great Oaks team for any future tree work.

We received a flyer in the mail and needed some trees removed and trimmed anyway. I gave the number and quickly someone came out and gave me a very fair quote based upon previous tree removal cost. Signed on the spot. They said it would be a couple weeks, and it was. When they arrived the job was done quickly and professionally. They did a great job!!! Clean up was beyond expectations also. Great Oaks will be my only call when I need additional trees taken care of. Very happy customer 😀
