We recently hired local veteran owned and operated GR Tree Service MN to take down four massive 80-foot cottonwood trees and two smaller ash trees, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results! We were excited to work with a local company and had witnessed their professionalism and skillful work at our neighbor's property. From the very first interaction it was clear the team was professional, courteous, upfront, communicative, experienced, and incredibly efficient. These were big trees in a tricky location, but the crew handled everything with skill, care, and safety gear. They worked quickly and safely, making sure our property, and our neighbor's property, was protected throughout the process. After the trees were carefully taken down, they came back and ground all the tree stumps. Again, they took care to minimize chips getting everywhere and they worked efficiently to complete the project The quality of their work, fair pricing, and attention to detail truly set them apart. What I expected to be a pleasant / positive experience ended up being quite the opposite Garret was here to remove a tree and grind a stump and when he was done our decorative concrete curbing was destroyed. Had I known he was planning to sit on top of the curbing with his machine I would have gone another route. I am unclear how someone can expect to do that without damage is beyond me. What saddens me most is he is taking no accountability for this. Please beware

I had them take down 8 trees on my property over the course of 4 days. 3 were very large oak trees between the house and pool. Garrett and his assistant did a fantastic job of cutting those down without damaging anything in the area. They also did a great job of brush clean up and organization of the wood I was keeping. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone in the area.

We are extremely pleased at the job Garret and his team did for us. They took down some massive dead oak trees on our property, they took great care to not disrupt our yard and the results were fantastic. Garret was prompt, professional and did what he said he’d do. Exceeded my expectations.

Garrett and his team did an incredible job taking down two very large oaks we had on our property. Both trees were over the roof of our house and would drop large dead branches onto it. GR tree service took both down with care and minimized damage to our lawn. We couldn’t be happier with the results! We will definitely be having them out in the future. Thanks again guys!!
