Super satisfied with my tree removal by Gaston’s. They came out Tuesday and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week and did an excellent job on a complex removal. Took down 3 large oaks in 1.5 days w/ stump removal. Crew were all friendly and professional. In doing so they clearly had a company culture where everyone on the job got along and truly loved what they did. One of the guys was younger and probably new to the company and the foreman treated him with kindness while maintaining safety at the job site. All around great crew and company that clearly takes pride in their quality of work.

Hands down the best tree service in Gainesville. If I could give Wellie and his crew more than 5 stars I would. I called Gaston’s on a Friday at 11:30 in the morning with what knew to be an emergency situation with the top of a 90 foot, multi-stemmed pine tree broken off and dangling over the roof line of my house. Wellie showed up in under 30 minutes and not 15 minutes later there was a massive crane parked in my driveway. Shortly after than there was a small army from Gaston’s standing in my front yard ready to remove this tree. Wellie’s crew was amazingly efficient and had this massive, multi-stemmed (and unfortunately dead) pine tree down and cleaned up in just over 2 hours. Where else in town would you get same day service from a tree company for a tree this large? This is why Gaston’s has been around for over 50 years. They put the customer first and they do what they say they can do. Add to all this was the very affordable price for this “same day, emergency” tree service. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time calling other tree companies in town, just call Gaston’s first and consider the job done. Thanks again to Wellie and the crew at Gaston’s Tree Service.

The Gaston crew was professional and did a complete job of removing a tree in my yard. It was a team effort of trained professionals working together. They went to great lengths to ensure the job was complete and the area was cleaned afterwards. They have the best equipment (cranes, trucks and experienced tree cutters) and a full crew to provide top-notch service. Wellie Thompson was reliable and provided expert advice on the removal of the tree and great communication throughout the process. I Would definitely recommend Gaston to get the job done.

Gaston’s Tree Service is the best tree service company in Alachua county bar none. Over the years we have used some others and Gaston is ready and on time regardless of the size of the project. Very professional from requesting a quote, to a respectful onsite crew eager to please, to completion. They recognize urgency and are conscientious. Although we opted not to have the stumps removed or ground, the crew went out of their way to level them cleanly to the ground, which we greatly appreciated.
