Frey Tree Specialist

Frey Tree Specialist are god sends in time of emergency situations! They attended to us in our time of need immediately. Barry and his team were professional and caring throughout the entire process of the giant sugar maple that fell into our home on April 19. Barry is very knowledgeable on assisting with the insurance claim as well, letting us know the exact procedures we needed to do for filing the claim. They completed the job efficiently and so carefully. They made sure a tarp was secured and even after another windstorm, they came back to ease my concern and provided additional stability to the tarp. I am so confident in this company that I could text today and he would answer me and address any need or concern in a timely matter.

From phone call to finish this job couldn't have went smoother. 30 yrs ago I did all our landscaping but now I am to old and not able to do it. Called a few people they said they would get back to us but never did. (MAYBE WHAT WE WANTED THEM TO DO WAS TO BIG OF A JOB) I don't know but they never called back. Called Frey Tree Specialist Barry called right back. Said he would meet us the next day and he was here when he said he would. We told him what we wanted he suggested a few things not pressuring us but making valid points. After everything was talked about he wrote us a contract told us what he wanted down and everything the contract had to specify on it from his terms so there was no misunderstanding. His Crew showed up and was very courteous and professional. They was here for better then 3 weeks. The pictures are from when they were done. Unfortunately no rain means no grass. So next year it should look fantastic. Notice how nice they trimmed the burning bush and the exsisting shrubs we had. We had 16 Pear trees (not the fruit) and one tall Oak tree to trim. You can see it towering over my garage in the 4th picture. And two great big Ash trees which were dead. Also had a new walk away put in from deck to driveway. Thank you Barry Frey and Crew. Very disappointing. He's a great salesman but horrible after that. He was more expensive then other companies but we were OK with that as he sold it as he would do better job then other companies. This is not the fact. He broke our steps, fence, yard, retaining wall, and then told us it was like that before lol like it just happens that everything where tree was is broken but no where else. Now we have un usable steps making everything harder getting home especiallyfor our 3 yr old. Also our whole back yard looks horrible with all grass gone and large holes making it unsafe for kids to play in yard without twisting ankle or something atleast fill holes you made with dirt real quick. The worse thing about it is they could be quick fixes and he wants to deny any of it is worse part. There's alot more companies out there I would recommend staying away. If he uses his super sales tactics on u like he did us and you go with him, take tons of before pictures and have him write everything in contact. Our tree was very large and in a hard spot so we get it, but just so much messed up and for him to say it was all like that before and just leave is just a slap in the face, especially bc he made us pay at the end extra $300 for Insurance that he won't file a claim for us on to fix anything or do himself. Hate going out of my way to leave bad reviews but this is no way to treat someone or leave someone's home destroyed. Reply to comment. We only wanted steps you broke fixed, nothing else. The rest we brought up because it's stuff you ruined and people should know how petty u are. You could of said sorry we made a mistake and told us what happened. Just cleaned up the stone wall you broke and just put the few stones in the trash and that several leads were dropped on fence by accident or something, the vines u didn't even hardly touch but we were like whatever. But you want to say u did nothing wrong and were horrible ppl for paying you $15,000 to remove a tree and treat us like this....We told neighbor you were cutting tree and seemed great before you even finished the tree and destroyed history our 150-200 yr old wall, gate, and yes step are old but we're 100% functional and no reason to say it's OK for you to destroy them. Just bc gate and wall is 150 plus yrs old doesn't mean you can break them.. we appreciate history and the old.. The vines you said you would do free and was a job of a job lol posted picture and you did very little with vines lol. My mother in law said u did good as she didn't see all the property/ history u ruined and claim u didn't do anything but yet everything broken is in same area under tree. Yet everything away from tree is great and nothing wrong...... trust me u won't be doing work for us again. Will see you in court and see who was right or wrong, will post pics of what happens. Amazing experience. The owner was diligent in answering my call and coming out to provide an estimate for work around my home due to overgrowth and storm damage. The crew sent out was timely, orderly, and professional. I’ll continue to recommend Frey Tree to everyone and I’ll use them in the future for all my needs.

The Frey Tree Specialist company was great. Professional & friendly team of 3 workers kept me informed on what they were doing..answered any of my questions...always cleaned up before they left for the day and, upon completion of the work, Mr. Frey came to check with me that everything we had discussed had been accomplished to my satisfaction. After the completion of my projects, my neighbor then contracted them for a couple jobs on her property as well.
