I contacted Mark to evaluate my property with over 40 Ash trees as I knew I had Emerald Ash Borers and wanted help figuring out which trees had to go immediately and basically develop a plan for the yard. Mark was prompt in returning my call and setting up a meeting. We discussed saving a few trees with treatment, designating some to be taken down immediately and letting others be for now as well as replacement trees. Mark was forthright in stating that this will be a multi-year process. I appreciate that as it makes it easier to spread that kind of cost out. Within a few days of accepting the proposal, the treatment was done to the selected trees and a different crew set up a time to come take down 15 designated trees. They cleaned up the yard better than I could have expected. The stumps will be ground out soon. I contacted Mark to go over the property and determine where to situate new trees and we have marked the spots for those trees. I cannot thank Mark and his team enough for helping me through this process. Cost has been reasonable and work has been done promptly and thoroughly.

Professional, courteous, and very good at what they do. Called First Choice about removing a huge willow tree that was growing too close to the house. Kevin came out and gave us an estimate on the take-down, removal, and stump grinding. After getting a few more quotes we decided to go with First Choice. Kevin, James, and Karma did a great job of the take down, removal, and clean-up. The first team that came to grind the stump had mechanical issues and couldn't finish the job that day, but Ian came back later and got the job done. All around a good experience - and the final cost came in at estimate! Will definitely hire Kevin and his team in the future.

Our condominium association hired First Choice, under the leadership of Kevin Chase, Arborist, to perform a variety of tasks this year: ash tree removal, stump removal, ash tree treatment, and clean up. We had to have the jobs completed before our city repaved one of our primary streets. All the work was done in a timely and very professional manner, with excellent communication during the engagement. Kevin took the time to manage the process closely and give us his advice about how to update and care for our condo neighborhood’s permanent plantings. Highly recommend!

I, too, am a long time First Choice customer. On this visit they cut down and removed 2 ash trees. The team, as always, was professional, courteous, and the best at their craft. And their cleanup made my lawn look even better than when they arrived.
