Fairbanks Stump Grinders

I had just moved into my new home recently and realized the old trees may be problematic. I called Fairbanks Stump Grinding through a referral from Shepard. When Buck came over, he showed me just how bad 22 trees were. They were beautiful to look at but rotten to the core. I had one extremely large spruce that was overtaking my driveway and was concerned how they would take it down with hitting the power lines or my house. The price he quoted me was too good to say no. I hired Buck on the spot and scheduled a date and time. His crew showed up as scheduled and were able to fell the trees in six and a quarter hours. Watching the process and the care they took to ensure my neighbors properties were not damaged in any way was just amazing. When they finished, Buck took great care that my yard looked as though they were never here.

Needed a cluster of 5 giant spruce trees removed as they were close to and leaning over our house. I got multiple quotes, but chose stump grinders because upon meeting Buck, I could tell he knew what he was doing and was confident in the job. He made sure that the power lines were dropped to reduced risk and be as safe as possible. Even though they had some equipment issues (it happens, no biggie) it didn’t stop them from completing the job safely and maintaining a positive attitude with each other. The teamwork of the crew was awesome to watch! Everyone had a job and knew what to do. Buck was an excellent hands on leader; The years of experience show! Thanks guys!

In mid May, 2020 we had an emergency situation with a 60+ foot tree that had cracked at the base, and was leaning toward the house. If the tree were to fall on the house the damage would have been significant. I made a call to Fairbanks Stump Grinders and within twenty minutes they had someone at my house to look at the situation. He called in the crane truck which showed up in another twenty. The three guys from Stump Grinders moved more like a SWAT team than a company that provides tree service. I overheard on of them say, "this (tree) is going to go, gotta hurry". Threat neutralized. These guys are awesome! I had about 8 or 9 trees cut down today , and all 3 men were very professional, safe, and effectively got the job done. My house is much more safe now, with the removal of several hazardous trees. And not a bad price! Thank you Fairbanks Stump Grinders, you're the best !

I called this evening for help on removal of hard pack snow as our road was a mess. They answered promptly and gave me a slot for the next day. My friends ending up performing the job the same night before Stump Grinders could get there but I appreciated their quick response and great attitude. I heard from others that they did a good job and fully anticipated that they would follow through as requested if needed.
