Dorshak Tree Specialists

We’ve been using Dorshak for various services for several years. They’ve done an excellent job every time they’ve come. We recently had them trim our massive Silver Maple and, again, they did a terrific job. They carefully got their man-lift into a very tight space and didn’t damage any of the gardens and hard-scaping. The crew was on time, professional, and courteous. Clean-up was very thorough. I highly recommend them.

After a storm in May 2025 I noticed a giant Basswood limb of ours had snapped like a match stick and was hanging on by a thread, close to our neighbor's house. I called a few companies to get quotes. Dorshak was the one we chose. They were able to quickly schedule an assessment and removal of the bare, snapped tree limb. Upon review, they discovered the entire tree had heart rot to the ground, even though appearing to be healthy on the exterior. I scheduled to have that removed a few weeks later. Losing that 90+ year old tree was a very sad occurrence for me. I felt like I was losing a friend. I appreciate, and would definitely recommend Dorshak Tree Service not only because of their ability to resolve the dangerous situation for me quickly, but also their professionalism, respectful and courteous interactions, and knowledge of the situation. I had the utmost trust in the people working on my tree for both jobs, and was so impressed overall that I contacted the owner, Myron Dorshak to share my compliment with him. Working with them felt as comfortable as working with a good neighbor. Myron and the whole team were exceptional and though sad that I lost that tree, I felt like we were all given the best care for its removal. Could not be happier with the overall situation!

The crew were very professional and expert in removing difficult very large tree branches. They were fair in their cost and made adjustments to the original invoice to ensure fair cost for the work.
