Curtis Tree Care

Our cat, Emma, managed to get herself stuck about 30–35 feet up a tree late one night. We first tried calling the fire department, but since they’re volunteer and it was after hours, we weren’t able to get help right away. A quick Google search led us to Curtis Tree Care, and I’m so glad it did. They called me back promptly and arrived in less than an hour. The whole experience was outstanding — they were prepared, caring, and professional from start to finish. It was clear they knew exactly what they were doing and had rescued many animals before. He explained what would happen step by step and had Emma safely down in under an hour. Emma was a little shaken (and scratched both of us a bit!), but she was completely fine once back on the ground. After the long night we’d had, it was such a relief and we were so grateful. Curtis Tree Care clearly has the right equipment and skill for any kind of tree work, not just rescues. He’s a good person who genuinely understands how much a pet means to a family. I think Emma has learned her lesson — but if she ever forgets, we’ll know exactly who to call! Additionally, if we ever need any tree service, they will be getting my business.

Curtis Tree took the time to meet with us and review our property proactively to present us our options about some concerning trees on our property. Will is very knowledgeable, preferring to care than terminate the trees unless no other option presents. The crew showed up early, worked methodically and efficiently throughout the process and cleaned up all debris as if they were never there. Extremely happy with our result and overall experience. Would give 6 stars if I could!

The absolute best experience I have ever had with a tree company. Will was fantastic. Showed up at my door after I left him a voice mail since he was working nearby. Scheduled me quickly. Showed up when he said he would. Did a great job cleaning up. Very honest and open about his pricing. Could not ask for a better experience. Will Curtis is very knowledgeable and does a wonderful job communicating that information so a homeowner can make informed decisions about their tree care. We hired Will after a neighbor had another provider trim their trees leaving some of ours “exposed”. Will’s recommendations were spot on and really opened up our yard while promoting tree health. All told he worked on seven trees and even trimmed our dogwood bushes!
