Had a neighbors tree come down on our shop at 1:20 a.m. on a Saturday. Josh showed up that morning at 8:00 a.m., provided me with a clear estimate, and was back within an hour with his crew to remove the tree from my shop. They worked continuously for quite some time, raking every last leaf from the tree up. They were professional and did an excellent job. Thank you Josh and crew for being there when we needed this support the most! Great job!

We just had Cortland Tree Service remove a tree from our back yard that was destined to fall on our neighbors property. We called for an estimate a few weeks ago, the owner came over, talked us through everything, provided a very reasonable quote and we booked it immediately. Today they arrived it was quickly obvious that they were absolute professionals, the crew was smooth and efficient, they were mindful of the property and structures (no damage to anything even though it was right above a fence, a garage and a shed). They cut down the tree that was in danger of falling and also trimmed the dead limbs from the other tree that was in close proximity. My wife and I were very impressed and would highly recommend them for any tree related work, we will definitely use them again in the future if the need arises.

I had a tree come down on March 11, as it was leaning on other trees, I called Cortland Tree Service as they had good reviews. They were on the scene that evening and removed the tree. That is were the good service ended. They charged me $600 to take the tree down which was overpriced, but agreed for an extra $200 they would come back and grind that stump and two others on my property. I figured that was fair, but they never came back to take care of the stumps. I contacted him several times, and he just blew me off. If you have them do ant tree take down, make sure they do all the work at that time, as they won’t be back.
