Chapingo Tree Care Specialists removed four trees and stumps from my small DC backyard and trimmed two others. The same person who provided the quote oversaw the work, which gave me confidence in the process. They handled the job safely and efficiently, even in tight very quarters, without causing any damage. The crew arrived on time with all the proper equipment, and their bid was the most competitive of the three I received. I’m very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them.

I couldn’t be happier with the results I got using Chapingo Tree Service. I hired them to trim some large limbs on the perimeter of my property this summer. They did a fantastic job, were easy to work with, professional, and clearly care about the work they are doing. I chose them because after getting an estimate from Jorge Alvarez, I could tell he would be very communicative and really cares about getting things right. He was very honest with me and we worked out a great deal. They were professional, task oriented, on time and worked to make sure the job was completed on schedule! They were very efficient, and took the time to carefully evaluate how to trim safely with minimal disturbance to existing vegetation. They worked continuously removing the limbs and immediately shredding them, as well as cleaned up completely when they were refinished. Their work ethic and attention to detail were impressive. In this day and age, integrity and transparency mean everything. What I was promised was completely delivered and more. It is evident that Jorge and their entire team have pride in their work and put customer focus and satisfaction as their priority in everything they do. Today the crew from Chapingo Tree took down a 60 year old oak tree in my mother’s front yard that had lost a very large limb two days earlier. They were so careful and professional. It was sad to see this tree go and they understood how my mother cared about this tree. They skillfully and with great care removed the tree so that the three dogwoods trees under the tree would not be damaged at all. They were constantly cleaning up the yard and left it in great shape. All the crew were friendly and kind to me and asked after my mother. The noticed another dead tree in the side yard and offered to take that down too. It was amazing to watch the skill they all had using the crane and securing the large limbs and huge section of the tree trunk and maneuvering them to the chipper. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew in doing this big job for my mother. Jorge even cut some beautiful disk sections from a limb for my mother to keep. I highly recommend Chapingo Tree. Everyone was so friendly and skilled!

I rarely write reviews for companies because I am very detail-oriented and expect nothing less than 100%. I had 5 tall trees that I needed to cut down and a few more trees that needed heavy trimming in my backyard. I called Chapingo Tree Care for an estimate and their professionalism from the first phone call was very impressive. I asked that they come and take a look at the project I wanted to be done and if they could please give me an estimate. The owner of the company showed up exactly on time, was very knowledgeable, and explained the best way to fix the tree issues in my yard. When I received the estimate, their pricing was very competitive and I signed the contract. The crews arrived on time daily, and cut down all 5 trees (some as high as 85 ft.) as well as trimmed back other overgrown trees. I also asked to grind down the stumps and the roots as well. The crew took away all limbs, logs, and debris. They were very professional and the team worked together flawlessly! The team included Salvador, Jorge, Gerson, and Josh who were all amazing to work with. Chapingo has all the right machinery to expedite the process. The crew was very careful not to damage anything and to keep all limbs far away from the roofline. I am very impressed and 100% would use their services again.

DO NOT USE CHAPINGO! They are dangerous and very unprofessional. I used them twice. The first time to trim some trees that were very close to the house. I should not have accepted the fact that they were extremely careless as many branches hit the house when falling almost breaking my outdoor light fixtures and scraping the windows. I tried them one more time to cut down a large tree. They were to stack the wood and leave it where I could split it for fire wood. Well, the first day they showed up and said they couldn’t do it. The second day they cut down the tree and left the pieces exactly where they fell. No attempt to control where they landed. Also, several surrounding trees had their branches broken as result of the cut down tree. I had to call 4 times to have any schedule to come back and take a look. The wood is still all over the backyard. Its been over 2 weeks and still not completed. There was no attempt to rectify the situation. I definitely will never use them again. Edit: The response 2 years later is comical. There was absolutely no attempt to protect the safety of anyone, our home or the other trees. Additionally, there was no emergency situation or weather to tend to and a blatant lie. The splitting of the logs was a measly concession for the horrible job you did initially. Customer be ware!
