Cartwright Tree Care

We recently utilized Cartwright Tree Care for a large tree removal at our home. From the beginning when obtaining an estimate, to the scheduling, to the day of service, we were very pleased with the prompt response, communication and timeline of our tree being removed. Their crew showed up during the timeline we were told to expect and the tree removal was surprisingly quick, considering the size of our tree. Cleanup was as expected, as was the stump removal, and our property was left in great condition after the job was completed. We would definitely recommend Cartwright Tree Care and will gladly be repeat customers in the future when we need any of the tree care services offered.

Cartwright Tree Care has done work at our house and my in laws for several years. They do very good and professional work. Their crews are top notch, they have all the right equipment to get the job done. It’s a real pleasure watching them at work. Thanks to them for the years of service they’ve given to the community. Had the Cartwright Team back again in fall of 2025 to do a couple tree removals… one tree too big for it’s space & growing into the roadway and the other becoming a threat and nuisance to the house. **PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES ATTACHED** I had a signed written estimate and contract with Cartwright Tree Care for 1,325.00 on Estimate 10434E. Their estimator Don came to my property, documented the job, submitted the estimate, and the company sent me the contract which I signed. The work was scheduled based on that agreement. After the contract was signed, Brad, the General Manager, tried to change the price by adding a surprise 450.00 hazard fee through a text message he sent to my father. My father is not the contracting party and never discussed pricing with me. He only confirmed the date and time because I work and he is retired. For Brad to use that message as approval for a price change is misleading and disingenuous. Brad then sent passive aggressive emails after I message him-Bead was trying to shift blame by calling it a “safety issue” even though their own estimator inspected everything before sending the contract and sent pictures on the contract itself of the exact trees to be cut. Brad recreated the estimate quote document afterward and attached a screenshot of a text message with the name removed so it did not show who it was sent to. Brad attempted to gaslight me about the “safety of his crew” to avoid their mistakes and $450 add on. That is very shady business behavior. The company also showed up at my property one day early without notifying me then left and never came on the actual scheduled date. Nobody from the company contacted me. I had to call and I spoke with Jessica in their office who said the situation was odd and admitted I should have been contacted but was not. I gave Brad every opportunity to fix this professionally but he refused. If the owner or someone else from the company wants to speak with me directly I am willing to do so but not with Brad after how this was handled. See the attached screenshots for proof including the signed contract and messages. I hope the company does the right thing but based on my experience customers should look elsewhere!

Matt and his team are a first-class operation. From the 1st call to the end of the job, they were exceptional to work with. They took one of our a 80-foot trees out with absolute perfection. First time I spent this kind of $ to remove a single tree and I actually felt great about it. Matt and his crew are just good hearted people. No need to call anyone else.
