This is the third time we've had our trees trimmed by California Tree Design. As always, they do an absolutely fantastic job! They arrive almost as soon as you call them. They clean up completely after the job and the tree looks so good. It has been beautifully trimmed but still looks like the tree! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing tree services and will be using them again in the future to keep our trees healthy and beautiful.

The California Tree Design crew did an excellent job cutting and trimming many tree branches that had grown above or close to my house. As usual, they worked quickly and efficiently, leaving my property free of all tree debris. Peter, the project manager, clearly explained the anticipated scope of work. I was impressed by his concern that although many branches would need to be totally removed or just trimmed, it was important that the trees retain their natural beauty.

I wanted a consultation with a licensed arborist. I found him! Chris was able to come within an hour of initially talking to him, to look at my very large sycamore that was leaning over the house. I was concerned because I knew the Santa Ana winds would be starting soon. He was very knowledgeable, explaining its root system, and continuing to check for any issues that might show trouble spots that the roots may be causing. He then looked at the tree's general health, noticing holes from boring insects, and that it was holding too much moisture due to plants that had been planted at the base. Chris gave me his recommendations, and confirmed that the team would not butcher my tree. There was a crew available within an hour of accepting his estimate. Communication was obvious, between the arborist and the crew. They knew what they were doing...and my tree was beautiful. I can't say enough about how happy I am, from Chris to the crew. Quick response. Great work and hard-working crew. Good value. Had palm trees, a giant Podocarpus, and Chinese elm trimmed. Very happy with results. Have used them before and will use again.

We have used California Tree Design twice over a period of two years. Each time we have been most impressed with their skill, professionalism, timeliness and finished product. There are a lot of trees in our yard; we needed a company that understood how to best trim our trees to enhance their beauty & health. The well trained team of seven men hand pruned, not hacked with a chainsaw. Their arborist fed and sprayed specific trees to eradicate pests and encourage fruit. They are insured which is very important to us. We recommend their service, it wasn't inexpensive, but good quality never is.
