Bradley Tree Service & Excavating

$32,000 later. Hired Bradley Tree Service to take down 15 or 16 trees, including grinding stumps. $16,000. And another $16,000 to put in a drain field. The property where the work was done is across from our residence, so we had front row seats. During these several days, they damaged 2 neighboring properties. First one the "crew" put their coolers on the neighbors front yard & sat there to take their breaks. All day long they would walk across this yard, vs just walking down our driveway to their vehicles. The owner cleaned up after the crew one day, picking up all the trash they had left behind. The next day more of the same. When West asked me "are you happy so far?" I said, sure, but your team messed up my neighbors yard. He seemed disappointed with them and mentioned he had told in the past, them not to do that. Then as I was going back to my home, he said "Come here and tell them what you just told me" So I did. West (owner of Bradley Tree Service) asked me if I had grass seed, which I did have a big bag and he and his guys, spread it on the neighbors yard. 2nd, the backyard of the property where the work was being done is another's neighbors, wooded acreage. So they took it upon themselves to go back into the property cutting down a wide spread of the woods. The neighbor was so mad, they ended up putting up a fence because they thought we allowed that/ caused that damage to their property. So we bought a home with a great yard that backed up to nature and now we are stuck with a yard that has a fence going across the back. There is an entire 2nd part to this review, but google said it was too many characters and wont let me post it. So I had put it under 2nd email address. The pics don't show the incomplete drain field areas.

We had 30+ trees directly hazarding our home. We called Bradley Tree Service and Samuel came out, gave us a reasonable quote, and soon his team was hard at work with a bucket truck and chain saws. I couldn’t be more pleased with the careful and courteous way the work was completed. Samuel constantly communicated with us as the job proceeded and ensured the work matched our schedules. They got the job done for a reasonable price, grinding many stumps and doing some preventative maintenance on some older trees on the property, very appreciative of the dangerous work these folks do. Process started off great and professional but communication was very poor at the end. They missed a stump(had some rocks around it so I get it, even though I easily moved them once I realized it was missed and why) and they left some very large roots around a large stump. We never got a final walkthrough to discuss any of this, shame on me I suppose for paying when they were 80% done and seemingly doing a good job. My yard is also very torn up, I get it… they used heavy equipment, it happens, but I would expect some communication around the amount of damage done to the yard and the work left undone. I followed up and they said the roots were too close to my garage and the stump had rocks next to it. Okay, but again, no discussion, attempt to remedy or recommendation to handle. If you’re going to damage something, or not going to do something, I believe the right thing to do is discuss it with the homeowner. I don’t like leaving poor reviews, and very rarely do, but we did not have a great experience in the end.

I highly recommend Bradley Tree Service. It was very easy to contact them and have them come out and give me a price.When we arranged the time for the appointment, they were very prompt! They cut down a huge dying tree on my property. Not only did they do a wonderful job in cutting the tree down, but also cleaning up all of the debris! I was very comfortable with their pricing and their service!

West, Celia and the team did a great job on all of our trees. Would not hesitate to use them again, or recommend them for your needs. They were here 4 days in a row, removed large 5 trees and trimmed 3 others.
