Big Dog Stump & Tree

Great Service, I was at the satellite chip and mulch site by the dairy farm. Amber was there, smiling and helpful as always. I drive out from our place in Evans and the staff makes the drive worth it. Out of nowhere, Brian, the Big Dog himself (Owner) came up, said hello and offered a few tips on how to offload faster with a few ropes/ties... Though I am middle age, I love big machines. Brian showed me Green and Blue (a Chipper and Mulcher), he explained how they work and more, he was more a kid in a candy store than I was. The neat thing about Brian, he loves what he does. He takes good pride in his occupation. The Team has always been friendly (front and back office). Lastly, they do sell to the general public bulk mulch and chips, at a significant savings compared to others. Thanks for a great experience and conversation.

I had several sizable trees that needed cutting down in my front and backyard. I was able to get a quick and honest estimate that was appropriate for the scope of work. Barely a week later I was notified the crew would be at my house to begin work. The crew who cuts and grinds stumps is separate from the crew/company that excavates stumps. I’m currently waiting on the stump excavation. The tree cutting team was very professional. They wore their safety gear and worked in a deliberate and careful manner. The cleanup was rapid and thorough. At no point did debris end up on my neighbor’s properties. Big Dog’s equipment was perfectly suited to the job which facilitated such a quick completion. I would recommend them to anyone.

They removed 3 large trees from my side yard. It went great. They got it done in less than 3 hours. And the prices are competitive. My only complaint is that there was not good communication. They left me guessing when they might come do the work. And went a couple of days before answering emails and texts.

Excellent job. They took down 6 large pines which were leaning toward the house and did an excellent cleanup job. Have been using them for years and always been pleased.

Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. Had a tree fall on my house across power line, on chimney, roof and side of house. They took great care as not cause any further damage and cleaned everything off roof and lawn. High praise for this company!!
