Great company! Such professionals ! Did my trees in my yard ! They were amazing from the estimate from (Kenny) to the amazing work completed!Each one of the employees knew just what they needed to do and worked together well . Tyler who was in charge took care of everything that needed to be done! They Cleaned up all the branches trees and the sawdust from grinding the very large tree! I would recommended them to anyone ! You never know I had anything done ! They even sweep the street where some of the clippings fell ! I will be hiring them again for sure !

I recently hired them for a tree removal and trimming project, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their work. From start to finish, their team displayed true expertise and professionalism. Kenny was great to work with and made this happen before our scheduled pavers appt. Joe was the lead on the crew and ensured that we knew what was happening before they started the job and took great care in understanding where future pavers were going to help navigate how trees were getting taken down.

So we recently had two medium size oak trees come down and lean against our house. They were rotted at the base. We were lucky and there was not much damage to the house itself. I called our insurance company and they said get rid of the trees right away. I called Bivins and their estimator called me back within a half an hour that morning and showed up to give an estimate around noon. He told me the trees pose no danger even though they were leaning against the house and that the earliest could fit me in was a week away. I agreed and even put a deposit down. Somebody we know in the landscaping business came by saw the trees and told us they didn't think it was safe to leave the trees against the house that long, especially with the upcoming rain and winds scheduled for the next week and gave us the name of another tree service they recommended. This new tree service these said the trees needed to come down as soon as possible and could fit us in Monday morning. They were a little bit more expensive but well worth the cost for peace of mind. We contacted Bivins office again to cancel but being it was a Saturday nobody answered and nobody returned the call. Come Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. and the other tree service is ready to start and the estimator from Bivins shows up at my door and asked me what's going on. I told him that we called the office to explain everything but nobody answered. So I explained that I got a second opinion and someone that was willing to take the trees down a few days earlier so we decided to go with them. He told me I signed a contract and that I was now going to lose my deposit. I told him I had read the contract and that only $100 would not be refunded from my contract but he was free to continue to lie to me if he wanted. Just return the rest of my deposit and we will be done. He then told me the only reason that I went with the other company was because they were cheaper to which I responded. They were not cheaper and they were a little bit more expensive but were worth the peace of mind. Then he wanted to know why I didn't call him directly on his cell phone and I told him that calling the office should have been sufficient. He then called me unprofessional to which I responded that his leaving a tree leaning against someone's house for an entire week was unprofessional. I'm not sure if these intimidation tactics work with other customers but there but didn't work with me. For the record the other company removed the trees with no problem and there 's no more danger to my house. The only reason I give Bivins a score of two is how quickly they responded to my initial call.

My wife and I were very unsure who to use to help us take down some trees since there are so many companies out there and the cost also can be very intimidating especially as new homeowners. Ben Bivens didn’t fall short they were super professional, fair prices, efficient, honestly all their staff was very helpful and kind. I will use them again and I will personally recommend them to everyone! Thank you!!!!

If you want your yard torn up from the machine they use to haul branches & tree trunks out with, or your vinyl fence ripped into from a chain saw, well then these are your guys!!! Heard good things about these guys & figured I’d give them a try. Never Again. So here’s an update….bivins returned after my accurate & truthful review. Three down dirt & grass seed in backyard for the area their machine destroyed. Unfortunately too little, too late. I’ll have to deal with it in the fall, not the summer when grass seed doesn’t germinate as well. Also told us they’d order the damaged piece of white vinyl fence they damaged. Well that was in April, and its now JULY!!! Still no fix to the fence THEY damaged. Trusting is not a word i would in the same sentence w/them. That is all.
