We recently hired Backyard Monkey to handle a massive job: the removal of a large banyan tree from our property in Keaau. They were absolutely excellent from start to finish. The owner, Justin, makes the process seamless—he has great communication and is very easy to work with. More importantly, he is extremely knowledgeable on trees and tree care, which gave us huge confidence in their ability to handle such a complex and large removal safely and professionally. Dealing with such a big tree requires true expertise, and the crew was safe, efficient, and left the site immaculate. I want thank you crew for doing an excellent job and they did it in the rain in Volcano. They were very professional and communicated often to see how I like it. I gave the boys some desserts from Kta , they were very grateful. I can't wait til they do the landscape again. Love that there is no kahili ginger and tall weeds.

This group of gentlemen are THEE absolute best. I've lived all over the globe and I never thought I'd find a landscaping group like this in Hawaii on the Big Island. Justin, the owner, is truly fantastic and their work speaks for themselves. Respectful bunch of guys who worked hard and literally made my house brand new. I've added some pictures as they removed a 4 story rubber tree, 3 random trees and removed miles of guinea grass and sprayed.
