John was a recommendation as we always prefer to work with them. He removed two sweet gum trees, one of which was already rotting from the base. The trees were professionally cut with no fear of damage to our property and our neighbor's. His crew cleaned up as fast as the branches hit the ground. All done in a timely matter. Communication was great as well. I highly recommend him.

We have taken out a number trees over the years on our property. Mostly big old fir trees. Without question, John Sperry and his team at Arbor Services Northwest has been the most professional, affordable and safest company we have worked with. This year we decided to take out a four foot diameter fir that was only about ten feet from the house. We loved this tree but it had already put a huge branch through our kitchen window during a winter storm. It had a double crown and felt that it was a risk to keep it up any longer. Taking out a tree of this size so close to the house has the potential for damage to the property and the surrounding yard and garden. Arbor Services Northwest was able to take the tree down in manageable sections safely with minimal damage to surrounding plants. We did have to reseed part of the yard where the logs created some large divots. But I would have been surprised if we didn't have some repair after a project like this. It was an impressive sight, and a little sad to see this beautiful tree taken down. We had a number of other, smaller trees removed as well, and John cleaned up some trees, most notably a big maple in our back yard. We are quite happy with the extra light our yard gets and feel that our trees and house are safer for the coming winter season. An important part of tree removal is cleanup. Taking down big trees makes a big mess and john's team did a good job of keeping the mess under control and tidying things up. Besides doing a great job on our trees, John was easy to work with. He showed up when he said he would and he respected our time Those may sound like small matters of courtesy, but I have been surprised by how many small business owners neglect these important skills. If you are going to have people at your home for a few days, you want to feel comfortable with them. John and everyone on his team were friendly, interesting and easy to talk to.

I second another reviewer...I wouldn't hire anyone else! These guys John and Rob totally transformed my unruly and out of control yard into something I can find peace within. I'm so grateful they went well beyond the scope of the work and delivered a magical place for me. Highly skilled, efficient, devoted to outstanding performance. This is the crew everyone needs to turn your yard into a temple. Can't say enough good things about them. The whole experience from the ease of the estimate thru to job completion was pain free and a pleasure.

Amazing service! I wouldn’t hire anyone else! They chipped and took away the mess after taking down a huge old cherry tree and cleaned up the firs in my yards very nicely! Highly recommend

SIMPLY AMAZING! Thank you! Being a American, I'm broke and on a budget. The trees my late Father and I planted 40yrs ago.. since then these three trees have destroyed the neighbors roof and lifted the foundation of my mother's home. Due to the age conditions and close quarters of both homes, the other companies refuse to bid or gave me some outrageous price. Just happen to be on my bike and ran across John and told him my situation at my mother's home. I was amazed how fast they came to give estimate but just like the others, he also saw the potential for huge liabilities . He reassured me that him and his team were top class and he wasn't lying! These guys went to work next day in the rain, clearing area where I wanted to keep limbs for fire wood. But the most impressive part was Robert! Not only did he leave "hand holds " (as per my request not knowing it would make his life hell) to build tree house for G. Kids, he idk how manged to "float" or swing each branch either way missing both houses! The "near misses" were too often to be just getting lucky. It was a skilled art to watch! John then also gave me advice on the house foundation and gave me options. I wasn't expecting a lesson in botany lol. I can't say enough about these guys and the funny cheerful vibe they bring with! Good work guys! *even the dog liked them and he don't like strangers *
