This is why you hire a professional arborist and should probably not try to solve some tree problems on your own. Brandon has been out to my property twice now — once to deal with a willow which was becoming a potential danger of falling across my private drive and damaging utility boxes; and the next time to deal with three maples that had been planted 3 years ago and were growing too fast and becoming so top heavy that they were in danger of branches breaking under their weight. Brandon knows his profession and is a font of knowledge and excellent consultation. The willow was dealt with by cutting out the decaying center, which allowed new growth to sprout from the perimeter. Saved the tree but removed the core that was dangerous to the property. The maples got branch end weight reductions, were re-shaped, and look great. Brandon advised me to revisit these after two growing seasons to re-assess if any additional work is needed since the trees are still young enough for stronger intervention if necessary. While on property he offered good consultation on two dogwood trees that need a bit more attention via water bags. Brandon’s fees are correct for the profession; he and his crew show up on time, get the work done with minimal fuss, and cleanup is great. There are contractors out there claiming to be arborists, but Brandon is the real deal. His depth of knowledge; ability to diagnose problems on the fly; and his simple, straightforward, pragmatic solutions are what separate Arbor Science Tree Care from its so-called competitors. Brandon is truly a gem. He’s full of so much knowledge and thorough. He explained everything in great detail and didn’t try to scare tactic us into cutting extra trees. Brandon and his team were super efficient and helped move logs where we needed them. They cleaned up after themselves and left it neater than when they came. Will use Brandon and his crew for all future projects.

A stand out company! We have a giant potted apple tree that is very sentimental to us. They shared expert knowledge with us, trimmed our tree ever so gently so we could save the branches and gave us much encouragement on planting the tree and growing starts from the clippings. The whole while being so compassionate to our circumstances. Highly recommend for their extensive knowledge base, insight and caring practice!

Brandon and his team came out to remove 6 trees on my property in the summer. The job was very professionally done and was quite an efficient operations as well. As others have mentioned in their reviews, Brandon is extremely knowledgeable/passionate about tree care and takes the time to come out to assess the situation while patiently explaining all the nuances of what he is recommending. I found their pricing quite competitive with the other arborists that I had come give quotes and just felt comfortable that they were going to do the best job compared to the others. Ultimately I feel we made the right choice going with them and am very happy with the results!
