Peikarski Tree Service did a fantastic job at cutting down a very tall Cottonwood tree that had been hit by lightning. The crew they sent was very professional, hardworking and very polite. They were careful and considerate of our property and our neighbors. Did a great job at clean up to the point where the only difference I noticed was that the tree was gone. They also did a nice job at grinding out the massive tree stump. We highly recommend Piekarski's for a professional job.

I recently hired Piekarski & Sons for tree removal, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their service. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and ensured my property was protected throughout the process. They cleaned up throughly afterward, leaving no debris. Their prices were very reasonable. If you need tree removal, I highly recommend Piekarski & Sons. Their professionalism from the office staff to the team in the field made the entire process stress-free.

Steer clear of Piekarski & Son Trees.. During their work for the unneighborly neighbor, they not only marred my lawn with unsightly mud tracks but also damaged my in-ground sprinkler head. When I reached out to them for help, they callously refused to take responsibility and chose instead to side with the inconsiderate neighbor, who falsely claims that all the damaged grass area is on his side. The photos clearly mark red the property line where Piekarski used my 98% of my lawn instead of utilizing the neighbor’s driveway. This entire experience has revealed a disturbing lack of accountability and customer care from this company. For your own peace of mind, avoid Piekarski & Son Trees in Lansing, Illinois, at all costs. They are unreliable and unwilling to own up to their mistakes. If I had the option, I would give this tree company zero stars. ****The response provided by Pekarski & Sons on July 26, 2025, is completely false. They do not have the plat of survey for either property, so they cannot accurately determine where our property line sits, especially since it is at an angle along the red line in the photos. To be clear, I was not your customer; your customer misled you, and as a result, you damaged my grass, 1 in-ground sprinkler head and refuse to make repairs. I want to emphasize that this company lacks accountability.

When we had tree trimming done and upon arrival the crew just went ahead and cut trees without confirmation. Their directions were written down. However they cut a tree that was do not cut list. When I arrived home the tree was trimmed! It provides privacy and shade to our deck. Regardless it was DO NOT CUT. The companies apology was to come and cut the “right” tree thinking it was no big deal. It was and is a big deal. On top of cutting the wrong tree the plants under were destroyed which wouldn’t have been had they not cut the wrong tree. Will not be returning or recommending.

The tree service crew today were fantastic! They all came with a smile! They were so professional with their service, clean up, and all around work ethics! Our pine tree was cut down in 13 minutes. They knew what to do and didn’t waste any time! They cleaned the yard, the grass, and even the street! ! We haven’t seen such a professional service like this in a long time. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the future! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
