American Arborist

We’ve had a fantastic experience with American Arborist, they recently trimmed two of our trees. The estimate and scheduling process was quick and straightforward. The crew showed up on time, they went over the work to be done with me to make sure we were all on the same page, the work was done quickly and they hauled everything away. The whole team was so nice and friendly. It’s great to have an attentive, professional and locally owned tree service.

Two crews showed up at my home. A crew to trim the tree in the front, and a crew to remove the tree in the back. Everyone that I interacted with was super nice! They were all very accomodating when a section of my fence needed taken down then put back up so that my dog would not get out of the yard. I could tell these crews were pros because they made everything look so easy! I definetly recommend this business, and I will use them again in the future! Good job and thanks for being awesome!!

I just had American Arborist to my home to trim up my tree. Three guys showed up on time and everyone of them could not have been nicer. Lloyd was the tree climber and I trusted him to trim up the tree. He said he would treat this as if it was his tree. He really knows what he is doing! The tree looked great. The cleanup was great. I could not even tell that they had been out. I highly recommend American Arborist. I should also mention that their prices are very reasonable. These guys take great pride in their work and it shows!

If I could give zero stars, I would. It was the worst experience with any contractor, ever, honestly. The morning of the project, the project manager did not speak to me, the singer of the contract and spoke to the neighbor girl, a minor, for permission to do the project after a huge rainstorm the night before. Consequences of speaking to a 17 year old neighbor was that were they destroyed not just my lawn, but my neighbors' lawns, too. Huge dents from fallen limbs, track marks and torn sod...so much so that my neighbor's retaining wall was actually displaced from the soil being moved from the driven equipment. My husband was deployed at the time and I had 3 months old twins and trying to get Mitch, the owner, to not just do right by us and repair our lawns but just to speak with me was like nailing jello to a tree. When I did get a hold of him, he yelled at me on the phone and was completely and utterly disrespectful. Expected me to just take the bad service and bad work and pay the bill. My husband ended up calling from the desert to get Mitch to be more respectful to me and understand where we were coming from. He said he'd fix it......lies. He sent some highschool kid, who was also very rude delivering passive aggressive messages from management, as he said, out to "assess the damage" of my yard and my neighbor's. Mitch showed up with an assistant after, with a giant dip in his mouth, spitting in my yard and on the sidewalk entry to my house right in front of me, to take a look for himself. After everything, he had some guy throw grass seed down two weeks later during the hottest days of the summer, not fixing anything and then threatened me with a lien. The absolute WORST experience with any contractor, EVER. Never received an apology about any of it. Despite all these other good reviews, if they have done it to one they'll do it or have done it to more. Bad staff, bad service, bad work. ***Addendum: Come to find out the good reviews are from the previous owner of this company who sadly passed away and his son sold the company to the current fella, Mitch and his wife. Mitch is also under litigation, for price gouging the elderly. Nothing but bad word of mouth from people throughout the community and other tree service providers.

I want to express my deep appreciation for American Arborist. From the very beginning, their professional advice and clear communication gave me confidence in the decision to take down my tree. The crew was professional, friendly, and efficient, and they left the area clean when the work was done. I had a great experience and would highly recommend American Arborist to anyone looking for expert arborist advice and high-quality tree work.
