American Arbor did a great job for me with a difficult tree removal. I can't speak highly enough about the job they did from the estimate through cleanup. After contacting over 10 tree removal services for estimates, American Arbor rose to the top in responsiveness, professionalism, communication and overall customer service. My positive impressions during the estimate process were only reinforced during the actual removal work. The work was performed quickly, safely and thoroughly. To Matt, Allie, Tyler, Jordan and the rest of the crew, Job well done! Would highly recommend American Arbor.

Professional, efficient, knowledgeable, trustworthy and affordable. I contacted four other services, all of which enjoy high ratings on Angie's list/Home Adviser. I struggled with finding a company that could actually follow through with the process. Perhaps the job was too much for them - trimming a very large Oak tree over my mother's house in Kalamazoo. Other companies wanted to take out several other trees to get back to it, but American Arbor had the big equipment to trim the huge branches with a grappling type crane and bring everything over the top of the house and to the front. I called them in a pinch when another sevice I'd committed to left me in a lurch (Trimming Oaks is time sensitive due to Oak Wilt). American Arbor sent an arborist out the next day. The arborist sent me an estimate that same day, which I agreed to (Friday). The next Monday they had a crew on site and did the job in half a day. They trimmed a cord's worth of firewood out of that tree and left it in a neat pile for me to cut up. I was not expecting such speedy service, but they had the crew lined up nearby for the first half of the day. I think the smaller services end up actually charging more for this kind of a job because they don't own the big equipment and either have to rent it or take the limbs down by more complicated means. I am extremely pleased with this company.

Matt, Amanda and their team were incredible to work with. During a stressful time as a result of storm damage, they took care of every detail removing a tree from my roof and tarped within 36 hours of initial damage. They handled the insurance end of things and were kind, communicative and responsive. I would highly recommend them for any tree removal service.

We used American Arbor for removal of a large branch hanging over our home. Matt and his partner were wonderful to work with! Before we even agreed to work with him, Matt took almost an hour with us to teach us how to properly care for a new tree we planted a year ago, and also show us some easy repair we could do for an older, large tree as well. In addition, he advised our neighbor as well on an issue he noticed in their tree. All this before we even agreed to hire them! As an Arborist, he can't be beat! We agreed to have our branch removed and he even came in at a lower price than several other services! The work was done quickly and very well. We highly recommend these folks. They really are pros at tree service!

American Arbor did excellent work in stabilizing and trimming a large red oak tree on our property. Their estimate was very reasonable and the work was completed in a timely and professional manner. Matt, Allie and Jordan were a pleasure to work with on this project. I would definitely use them again.
