From the moment they arrived, the team was professional, courteous, and clearly experienced. They took the time to assess the trees carefully and executed the trimming with precision and care. Not only do the trees look healthier and more balanced, but the overall appearance of my yard has improved dramatically. When I bought my home five years ago, it came with a beautiful, mature 50+ year old laurel oak that shaded my entire yard. She was already at the end of her life, but we pruned her as long as we could…until she finally became a real hazard. I reached out to several reputable tree companies, but the quotes I got were outrageous (I’m convinced they just didn’t want the job). Living in a historic district means nothing is straightforward: easements are tricky, powerlines are everywhere, and the backyard has no direct access - so yes, a massive crane was going to be required, along with a very experienced crew. That’s when I found my heroes: ADVANCE ARBOR PROFESSIONAL CARE, LLC. Bill came highly recommended by a friend, and he personally came out right away to look at the oak. I told him I didn’t want the whole tree gone, just reduced down to the healthy bit - but even that was a huge job. Knowing I’d be out of town soon, he made sure to schedule the crew and crane so I could be present. He understood how important that was to me, especially after a past experience where another company left my yard looking like a hurricane had hit it. This time, it couldn’t have been more different. By the time the crew was done, the street was so spotless you couldn’t find a leaf for a mile. Watching them work was truly something else. I’d never seen a professional tree company in action, and it was like watching a well-orchestrated movie. Everyone played a part - swinging from the crane’s ball and chain, climbing the tree, grinding the stump, directing traffic (they even closed down the street), blowing and cleaning as they went. There were a dozen men busting their butts, each one working in sync with the others. I sound like a groupie lol The lead guy, John, was calm, collected, and unbelievably skilled—directing everything over headsets with precision. The way he operated and coordinated the team was incredible to watch. Hopefully the photos capture even a fraction of it, but these guys will forever be my tree crew. I’d recommend ADVANCE ARBOR over anyone else, 100 times out of 100. Oh- also, they made sure any squires/bird nests were empty before they did anything. That was huge for me!

We had a fantastic experience with this company! Their team was friendly, professional, and incredibly creative. We had a very large dead tree in our yard that we used to hang hammock swings, and we were really sad about the idea of losing it. When they came out for the initial quote, they took the time to understand how we used the tree and offered a thoughtful solution. As they removed the tree, they preserved the main trunk and select branches so we could continue hanging our swings safely. They even suggested turning it into a piece of “living” artwork by growing a vine around it and adding staghorns. We loved that they helped us keep the function and charm of the tree without the worry of it falling on our house during a storm. We truly appreciate the care and creativity they brought to the project. Highly recommend! 🌿🌳
