A Cut Above Tree Service, Inc.

Nick saved our house. We had a bifurcated (2 trunks) 100 yr old 120’ ponderosa pine that was rotting and starting to fall apart. Within 3 hours of seeing it at the end of his work day, Nick brought in his crew and equipment and had it down by nightfall. We’re talking crane, bucket truck, huge trailer/dumpster and cables. It was a complex and dangerous job. Not just any outfit would have been able or willing to do it. One section towards the base weighed 9,000 pounds. We are forever grateful.

These guys are the BEST! We have property in Dunsmuir and needed a few dead trees removed. We had tried two other tree services first and one never got back to us and the second one gave us a bid and then never showed. I then called A Cut Above and they immediately returned my call and set up for an estimate. Work was scheduled right away. One tree was in a tricky location and they removed it without a problem. They were clean and professional-I will never use anyone else.

From Tom, who came out to give me an estimate and kept in close contact as we rescheduled the work because of snow, to the professional crew who came on time (to the dot!) to do the work, my experience with A Cut Above has likewise been a stellar one. The crew is friendly, helpful, engaging while not skipping a beat executing the job. What a delightful morning! And my trees look great. Thank you, guys!

Great experience from start. Tom took the time to walk the 5ac property and recommend what needed to be done to make property look great and be fire safe. Very clear on costs and came in per estimate. The team showed up on time and were amazingly respectful, got to work and did nonstop the entire day. Ok, stopped for lunch but back at it quickly! Don’t hesitate to be clear on what you want done, they will take care of it and exceed your expectation!

I had A Cut Above take down 7 oaks and trim at least another 7 at mine and my neighbors houses in McCloud. It was a pleasure to watch how well they worked together. Their attention to safety and how they approached the job shows a high degree of training. The equipment, including the quarter million dollar 75 foot boom truck, is first rate. The amount of work that they are able to accomplish in a day is astounding. The multi stemmed oaks had probably never been touched in their lifetimes. These are true arborists who know how make the trees look great while keeping them healthy. Both myself and my neighbor are very happy with having more light, less leaves and acorns while being able to see the gracefulness of the 90 foot tall oaks. This is the company to hire.
