Mr. Rios and his partner did an excellent job trimming my oak tree. They worked with great care and even stayed late into the evening to make sure the job was completed. I truly appreciate their hard work and dedication!

Incredibly fast tree cutting and removal of large tree at the old Collins cemetery. The tree was close to my dad’s headstone and its roots were shifting the gravestone. We needed it removed! I called A-1 Tree Service and was given a very reasonable quote and within hours the tree was removed! The tree was taken down to ground level and the area was cleared of debris. Thank you Joshua! You have given myself and my 94 yr old mom peace of mind! Fast, friendly, efficient service! This is the tree service to call for professional tree removal!

While the price was good, and our trimmed trees look better, professionalism and communication were terrible. Owner said he'd arrive before 9am, arrived after 4pm, and only after we called HIM twice. No communication letting us know he wasn't coming as planned. Job was mostly completed by dark on Saturday. As dumps were closed, said he'd return Monday for his trailer. No communication all day Monday, no show. No communication all day Tuesday, until we contacted him at 5pm to see if he was coming. Said he would come Wednesday. Did not see him all day Wednesday. Finally arrived late Thursday to take his trailer. During our experience, we were told: his crew didn't show up, he didn't have money to cover expenses like gas, he had two flat tires on our property and one somewhere else a few days later (which we got a picture of showing why he wasn't coming one day), he knocked during the job to ask if we had oil or gas, and he told us he was driving on a suspended license. Just not very professional in general, and struggled with the business side. (We originally were trying to set up a future date--in a week or two-- when we'd have the money ready to pay for the whole job, but he offered us a great price if we'd hire him to do some the next day. We took his offer, and told him that was all we could do that week. We were later told multiple times we "low-balled him", on an offer HE made. Next time we'll pay more to deal with a professional.) Clearly doesn't run the business side well. Hire at your own risk, and only if you are prepared for drama.

Showed up on time and did an amazing job cutting a very large oak tree that was hanging over the street. Very professional and a great price for the job. Fast service turnaround from first phone call to day of service. Would definitely recommend him for you tree trimming and removal services.
