A-1 Allen's Tree Specialist

A 1 Allen's did a fantastic job for us! They're professional and friendly in every possible way. Allen came and listened to what we needed and made suggestions, then gave us a quote that was very fair without nickel and diming us on every request. Allen's son Travis showed up with 3 crew members for our job and it was obvious Allen had done well communicating our job to him. Travis' skill was obvious, he totally controlled every limb that came down. It was interesting watching him calculate each limb as he was working between 2 houses. Our job was big, with 5, 65-70 foot live oak and 1 cabbage palm to be removed. They marked the septic and were careful not to encroach on our neighbor. They have a stumper, but our stumps were huge, so they sub-contracted a guy who could make much quicker work of it, he also did a good job. They carried it all away, left it all tidy. We asked for some wood to be left in small pieces which they did, and also left the shavings from the stumps for our garden. They claim to be "tree specialists" and they're not exaggerating. Of course we would hire them again! Superb job guys! Almost forgot! When Allen showed up for our quote, he had his business certificate and liability insurance in hand... we didn't even need to ask!

Six men worked for 5 straight hours at my home in Inverness today. They cut down 4 huge trees, one oak and 3 pine trees. They also trimmed 3 large oaks. They worked in my back yard and had to work around a wooden fence, a metal shed, and of course haul it all away.

Allen came out same day and gave us a quote- I thought it was reasonable and will likely be using his services when the time comes....

When I called the phone number, they scheduled an appointment with me for the next morning. Nobody showed up at the scheduled time. I waited a half hour and I then called to find out if they would be out soon. The same gentleman who scheduled the appointment said I'll be there in 30 minutes which would have made it an hour past the scheduled time. So it is now an hour and 50 minutes past the scheduled time and still no one has arrived. I do not intend to use this company as apparently they are not very reliable. He could at least call and explain why he's late and whether he intends to show up at all. I have used another company in the past for five trees on my property and they always arrived promptly; and they're going to be here tomorrow morning to take care of the limbs that I need to have removed. They don't even need to come out ahead of time to inspect, they're just going to show up tomorrow and take care of the job. I'll never call this company again.

I had a tree and a very large stump that needed to be removed. Got three quotes and although Allen's was not the cheapest, I felt very comfortable that the job would be done right. Allen handed me a copy of his license and insurance from the get go. He scheduled the work for the next day. They showed up when they said that they would and completed the work without rushing and they worked safely. They had all of the proper equipment that they needed from bucket truck to stump grinder and some chain saw that must have had at least a 30" chain. Workers were very friendly. They went above and beyond. Very pleased and would recommend them in a heart beat. Thanks Al!
